If you're looking for the best shot of the tournament, it's got to be at 17:25 You can slow it down to 0.25x and you still cannot see the ball.

Because snakes on bonzini tables are different than fireball tables and I'm guessing he is more comfortable with doing euros on bonzini than doing a snake.

What shitty quality tables. BTW " 8:24; when you score from the 5 player (the middle stick with 5 players) and the ball does not bounce off of anything, but goes straight into the goal, it is a goal for the other guy.

Need to find a table like this in Vancouver. This is the kind of table I played on since I was 13...Metal goal, solid table. I'm afraid my style might break a Tornado.

+EastVan Photography No your style would not break a Tornado, It's one of the most durable table out there. The only table I would put above the Tornado on durability is the Fireball but it's almost too good, it has no feel to it.

most of the keepers do the same repetitive move over and over.... all the striker has to do is get the timming right, and the shots aren't even that fast IMO

Way too many garbage goals. We only allow good goals to count, not ricochets or anglers. I guess when you get good, you want to be beat by good goals. They don't have to allow these, but they do. I wouldn't be interested in competing in this.

+EastVan Photography Good is subjective. What other sport tries to define what is a good goal and what is garbage? A goal could look clean, and the other team would say, "it ricocheted off of my guy, I felt it". What's an angler?

+EastVan Photography What sport has all clean goals at the top level? Even the highest level of games like snooker has luck involved at times. Soccer and Hockey the same. And this is the only sport where a championship is played on different tables that play totally different from each other. Could you imagine a tennis match played on a clay surface and grass at the same time?

Ezekiel Moore You can't compare other sports to a table game. All I meant is that when two players agree not to let ricochets or shots from the middle in, all you have to do is reset the ball, not a big deal. When I played like this, I didn't find an opponent that disagreed. It made for a better match that assured that quality goals beat you. If you are playing a coin-op table, then you don't have much choice, but if not, fetch the ball from the net and continue.

***** You know, that's how I played when I first started, before I got involved in tournaments. It's a basement rule, and there are reasons why it doesn't appear in tournaments. The biggest reason is that it's actually less competitive when you rule out the slop. We are forced to learn how to defend against it, which is a huge skill that would never be learned with those bar rules. Some of it will still happen, as you have seen, but those times when a miraculous save is made are what we live for, just as in hockey or soccer. We are ultimately 100% accountable, and it makes for a more exciting game. Letting slop go in, knowing it will be called back, is a crutch and anti-climactic.

I think the changing of the rules fucked up the game. They should only accept goals that are direct and also don't count goals with the 5 bar. So many of the goals are un intentional, its stupid!
