Hello buddy I write from Brazil and I have doubts about the quality of the engine and transmission of kia optima. The car I'm looking at has the same video powertrain (2.4L). The question is. Is this car good? Can I run 200k miles quietly performing the maintenance that Kia guides? Grateful I ask because there is not much information from the owners of Brazil whether or not they liked the car.

Don't give me a panoramic sunroof in Optima, Forte or Sorento, but invest in interiors as you did for 2011 Optima EX. Never use cheap sound system in any trim level. Keep infinity sound system as a standard..

The 2011 Optima steering wheel still look better than the newer 2014-15 models with a Mazda3 like skeleton steering wheel. Learn from 2013 Nissan Pathfinder or 2018 Buick Enclave to shape Kia's steering wheel..

Kia must stick to the 2011 ex infinity sound system, supervision gague display and UVO system with or without back up camera. Also please never use cheap plastic in any interior anymore. You will see the difference..

So are the oil and battery lights - its because the ignition is in the accessory position, the engine is not running. Start the car and they'll all turn off.

Kia is going to kill it's trade mark 2011 optima with constantly bringing these horrible red color displays reminds of the early 90s gaming and computers with Mirosoft Dos commonds. For God sac don't use those displays in such modern cars. Learn something from Ford or Buick display gagues (illuminating white, green) which are at least close to modern computer, iPad displays etc. Peter at Kia to pay attention to my concerns..

My God yes. The instrument cluster on the 2013s seriously look like a downgrade compared to the 2012 model. Hate those ugly chrome circles
