Pinocchio's Daring Journey
When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true. See how one little boy made of wood fulfilled his dream of becoming a real boy. The 3-minute ride recreates magical moments from Disney's second, and many believe best, animated feature, Pinocchio.
Pinocchio's Story
Board an enchanted 4-person woodcarvers cart and embark on a journey that retells the tale of Pinocchio's moral misadventures, aided by his appointed conscience, Jiminy Cricket.
Pinocchio was carved from wood by the goodhearted toymaker Geppetto and enchanted by the kindly Blue Fairy. Come along on his adventure as he tries to prove himself brave, honest and unselfish. If he can, he'll become a real boy!

merrimac290 I'm still traumatised to this day. I've tried over the years but I still upsets to to even think about it. Especially pleasure island /The Donkey scenes. 😖

Tbh, this is one of the dark rides I wouldn't be crushed to see replaced (you know a few of them are vulnerable in the next couple decades). I could deal with seeing this and Alice and Wonderland go (although I'd be especially sad about the latter), as long as they kept Peter Pan, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and Snow White's Scary Adventures (especially the first two).

GreenGretel They'll be keeping Peter Pan for the forceable future. It's consistently long lines will make sure that it is going to stay in the park. It's also being refurbished as we speak. Pinocchio's Daring Journey and Snow White's Scary Adventures might be gone eventually though. All the other Mr Toad's Wild Rides have been shut down at the other parks, so it's future is on the line. And Alice in Wonderland was recently refurnished so it won't be replaced anytime soon either.

Have you checked out the original WDW version of Snow White, before 1991 (I think that was the year)? It's when the Queen... uh... 'wins.' I never rode it, but looking at footage I'd imagine it'd have scared me pissless as a little kid. lol

It is scary and if Disney would put that in a ride why didn't Ursala get the same treatment instead they made her small cuz you're far away lame, Disney missed a big opportunity to make a huge scary giant Ursala :(

I'm getting quite upset thinking this was only like 6 years ago when I was seven and innocent and cute and people liked me and always happy and loved my parents and my parents loved me and I could be whoever I wanted to be and was so imaginative and curious now I'm a teenage girl with Bulimia ,Depression constant Detentions, always being told to grow up, parents that hate me, and another 6 years before its over. I said at age 8 I NEVER want to grow up everyone said I'd change my ming. I HAVEN'T

These gems had and still have such an effect on me. I was born the day Disneyland opened. I love Disneyland still to this day 60 years later.

I went on to be a commercial artist with a Disneyesque cartoony style. I love painting window splashes and also funhouse facades and interiors on occasion. Yeah...these darkrides influenced me greatly.

It was the company's second movie, it was back when they didn't change the fairy tales to be more kid friendly. I'm not saying that was a good thing, but I watched the movie in 3rd grade and was surprised about how there was swearing in a Disney movie. Nevertheless, it was still a good movie and the ride was still good as well.

I remember as a kid too being shocked to hear "Jackass" in a kid's movie. I'm honestly surprised in today's uptight world that they didn't remove that dialog from the ride. Not that I'd consider this swearing but in Cars (film), Lightning mentions that he's in "Hillbilly Hell" which kind of shocked me to hear that too lol.
