Part Six of a series of eight videos showing you how to service a 2013 Street Triple R In this video I grease the Swing arm and drop link bearings.Whilst the back end is stripped down I also clean and grease the rear caliper sliders and I also check and adjust the chain.

It’s not old dried grease in your linkage bearing, this is a waxy grease. It’s a different type because it’s a pivot bearing not a rotation bearing.

Could you install a grease fitting to prevent having to do this strip-down again?

Should pistons on the front radial calipers move all 4 of them in the same time? When i press the lever, than the two bigger pistons move first and than when i hold them moves the smaller ones.. Should i rebuild the calipers with new seals? Street Triple R 2014, 40 000 km´s on the ODO.

On most bikes I've had the pistons move as you describe as long as there is no crud on the seals/pistons I would leave as is YMMV.

I noticed you didn't use Silkolene on the rear caliper sliders and the rear axle. What kind of grease did you use?

Hi It was a long time ago :) but I think I just used a normal grease IIRC. Thanks for watching :)

i'm planing to re-grease my speed triple's drop link and swing arm.. it's a bit different from street but idea is the same.. great and helpful video.. Thanks .. Buy the way where did you get a torque measurements from?

domas tomkus thanks for watching,glad to know it will be helpful. I got the torque figures from the factory manual.
