i used to think that my dad wouldn't stop talking about the 90s and the 80s, but I somehow never realized that , its the same thing as me talking about the early 2010s i can't believe its over, it feels like i barely had the time to enjoy it, but we have to move on somehow i remember sitting on the sofa after school, bag of chips beside me, rest of the day off with my 360, no real responsibilities, no having to pay for car insurance, gas prices, college or the future man, i was living a dream and didnt know it

10 years ago I could have never imagined the impact that this soundtrack would have on me listening to it nowadays. This year has been the most nostalgic year of my life. My older brother is graduating at the end of the year and moving to another state and my little brother became a teenager this year. In just a few months I'm going to be the oldest child in my house and my older brother won't be there to guide me through life. It's now my turn to do the same with my little brother. The number one thing I have to remember the good days is this soundtrack. I'm at the next checkpoint of my life It's nice but scary. I'm growing too fast.

Sadly enough, there was a last time my whole friend group played Minecraft together. The worst part is, I cant remember the day we stopped, but I do remember going back to one of the worlds I owned. this video made me remember an old world i had with my dad back on the ps4. we would sit on the couch together and just enjoy the game. we had an expansive mine with a minecart railway taking you down - my dad loved it. we also explored a woodland mansion and had some dogs and a suitable house. not a crazy elaborate world, but good enough. unforgettable memories.

Помню, как пытался в пиксель-арт, строил метро, познавал сборки модов (до сих пор помню самую любимую - от DragonX!!) Все эти разрушения, вызванные модами с ядерными ракетами, все эти постройки, сделанные пусть и не по стилю современного строительства, но с душой, с друзьями. Я помню сначала Скайп, потом созвоны в Стиме, а потом и Дискорд. Навсегда запомню свой SMP, который я когда то держал. Игры в сплиф, DayZ-мод, паркуры, карты, сервера. Всех людей, кому я раздавал вещи на спавне, кого я гриферил, с кем я познакомился в этой игре, с кем играл свадьбы, строил базы и с кем добывал ресурсы в автошахтах. Это всё не только часть культуры самой игры - это и часть меня отныне и, надеюсь, навсегда. Все эти открытия, страхи, туториалы по редстоуну, игры с друзьями, моды - я этого не забуду. I can´t handle the fact: time is always moving, and this is terrifing for me. Truly one of the wrost things that haunt me every single day of my life, the nostalgia from the past, confusion in the present and fear from future. I hope i can pass trought this.

This was my first game ever and i was only 4 years old back 2014.

I was kind of young in 2013 but I remember watching my older brother play minecraft. I loved the music and one day he helped me make a pen with pink sheep and mushroom cows. I haven't played Minecraft in a while. Since I was eleven but I kind of wanna play it again. Maybe one last goodbye to my childhood before highschool. I'm scared of growing up. I'm scared about going to college and moving out. I'm upset that other girls my age are so much more mature than me, I feel like I've lost a part of myself that I'll never be able to get back. I'm so different now. I miss when I had tea-parties with my stuffed animals and having non-toxic friends. I miss who I used to be but at the same time, I'm glad she's gone.

It's really cool to read a bunch of peoples stories and how they relate to your own childhood. It helps you realize how small you actually are, its like you're not really existing, you're reading this from a random guy on youtube. The next day you wake up, you would have completely forgotten about me and this. Growing up as a kid, I dreaded having to be an adult, being burdened with responsibilities and all that. But unexpectedly, my life has become more fun and exciting than it has been in the past. I have never played Minecraft, never given the privilege to be able to do so (didn’t have access, parents said no for some odd reason), yet these soundtracks hit deep.. It’s amazing how much one can relate to another experience, to only go back and realise that it’s all changed - gone, even. Lost to memory. I grew up playing WildCraft, Roblox, AnimalJam, and so many other games. Recently went back onto those accounts and i honestly can’t remember the day I stopped playing. Yet I remember going back after so long, only to see the friends I had created, to be gone. Lost, and unable to be contacted again.

I can surely say that Minecraft was more than just a game. It shaped many of our childhoods. I am now 21 (about to turn 22) and am entering adulthood. It's so weird how life flies by. All the embarassing moments throughout my childhood now seem so small and distant. But this music brings me back to all the fun times I had with my childhood friends, the memories, the summers, and man oh man do I wish I could go back in time and relive it, but I can't. 2013 was 11 years ago, I’m now 19. It’s crazy how fast the time goes. I deeply miss my childhood, when we’re truly happy. When we came back of school and opened our xbox360/ps3 and go played with our friends. No taxes, no car, no appartement, no responsibilities. I remember a long time ago when small things so simple like the song of the doves in the morning or the smell of rain made us smile. Now I understand why my parents miss so much the 90’ 😢
