Today I wanted to give you guys an in depth look at why I love this car, why I choose this car, and why I believe at the price tag that I was able to steal this car, there isn't much better of a bargain for the package.
This is my own personal vehicle but I tried to really keep it subjective, and give something on all categories!

The gauge cluster is located there in effort to pay homage to 1st, 69 specifically. There are other Easter eggs that do that. Like the speed warning indicator.

Good vid. My lady is a '14 6 speed with Recaros. It is a super tight car that will hold its own against most takers. You seem to know a lot about your car so I'll keep looking at your vid. Mine was purchased new, and although a lot of people mod these cars, mine is all stock. I value a car that I can keep a very long time, and that I can keep the new car feel as long as possible. Thanks for the vid.

You haven’t had any problems with the superchargers? And did you at all replace the isolator on the supercharger?

I sold it last month but had no problems rebuilt the blower when I built it and yes to isolator.

I’m looking to buy one rn. Jsut don’t know if I want this or terminator cobra . These are still 40 grand and I don’t know if I want to spend that

Zl1 Easy choice unless the cobra is very modified. The old cobras need about 800whp or so to roll out.

@@JacksonLewis9947 the cobras weigh about 600lbs less tho so wouldn’t it need less than the ZL1? These 5th gen’s are over 4,00lbs if I remember correctly. Stock for stock the ZL1 wins but idk if it’s by much

Yo bro, just picked up a 2013 Zl1, high mileage for 27K... It has headers, cold air intake, exhaust, some other mods I don't know about, but they told me it was making close to 700hp at the used car dealership b4 I bought it. I'm thinking about upgrading the rear tires from 305 to 315's cause I spin everywhere, and this is an automatic, also my MPG's are HERRENDOUS!! So glad I didn't trade in my old C5 as I still use that for work since it's paid off😉. Bad ass as my Zl1 looks, I still get more compliments in my Vette! So far no problems, only had it for a week now... Any suggestions? Also, I'm in Austin...

Yessir I’d flush all the fluids, do new plugs and get a Great tuner to retune you!! Fluids maintenance and tune are cheap insurance!!!

I’m deciding on a 2017 mustang gt 20,000 miles or a 2013 zl1 70,000 miles same price at 37k what do you guys think

@@daltonambrose4268 the zl1 is faster , the only car I've lost to is a hellcat and that's because I started off in a gear too high , I beat 392s mustang GTs the new ones scat packs and everything in between

Yessir no Issues thus far. Haven’t taken it out much this last year due to work getting crazy, but still running healthy. Saving for short block currently.

@@JacksonLewis9947 Nice man how many miles? I'm either gonna get a 1le or a Zl1 soon haven't decided yet I dont mean when playing around but when you travel whats the best mpg you can get highway?

I wouldn’t worry about mpg if you kidding a supercharged v8. It’s pretty bad regardless. Get this car for speed, performance; etc. Sounds like 1le may be a better move for you, and those are still a beast heads cam on the 1le. Best mpg now is 8.

You should drive one for sure. Modded with a few k in the platform their a whole different car.

What made you choose this over a 2016 6th gen ss?? Just prefer the looks?

The platform, reliability, total package, HP levels, looks, and rareness. Although these are semi common, I just feel they really nailed e looks. And with about 30k to spend, this checks all the boxes for me. And allows me to build it up like I have. See my other videos. Subscribed to you!

3 Honks Away yeah I’ve watched a few videos you’ve really taken it to the next level sounds amazing too! I’ve read these feel more like a muscle cars then a sports car what are your thoughts on this? Thanks. I’m looking into buying a 2013 15k miles for 36k one owner no mods like yours just not sure how good of a deal it is.

Tommy Brumfield yes these definitely are more like muscle cars. You should be able to get them now for lower 30’s in good condition with low miles. I agree I’d keep negotiating! You will not regret it. A few thousand in mods and it’s a whole new car.

I got the 2015 ZL1 black edition it’s really fast that supercharged engine is music to my ears, it’s my daily driver now i love it.

I’m 23 got my 45k In the piggy bank getting my 2015 ZL1 end of this month the dealer wants 39k single owner 7k miles no mods 💯

I'm thinking about getting a 5th gen zl1 being that they're pretty cheap now. I'm just worried about the supercharger

BigRoB what are you worried about? There’s a recall where you can get your isolator replaced: and sometimes then also replace your supercharger under warranty. Go for it, worst case your out a few thousand but these guys are bulletproof everywhere else.
