TIP! Like Bulbs burn out and have the same life pan. Change BOTH BREAK LIGHTS at the same time. The pack has 2ea bulbs. Use them both at the same time. No need to find it all again a few weeks or month later. Do both now. Great Video! Keep making them. Yours are some of the best!

Thank you for this how-to video! I watched the first video I saw (about a month ago) by someone else that made it sound much more complicated and overwhelmed me. After a month of having the replacement bulbs and still not having any extra funds to take it in somewhere, I decided I was ready to revisit the task. I am so happy i came to check this out. The dealer was quoting me 100 bucks plus part to replace this since they said you had to take the rear hinge off.. ffs.. Saving me.. I just wish i knew what size screw driver to use.

@@Coolpachito My previous car you could do this from the inside without all the drama. Yes, that's a lot of drama. Pinching the electrical connection (they are never that easy), having a not-too-rough touch when tapping the housing back (something tells me they crack easy), turning things half-turns and pulls and pushes rather than simply unscrewing. Not rocket surgery or brain science but still. I don't see YOUR video of this.

@@jimcarey7150 Why would I need a video ? Lol. I am saying it is not too hard to do such a simple job. Compared to OTHER cars that you have to do a whole body job to change a bulb or remove a whole engine to change the oil then this is still pretty simple. There is nothing complex. Also with your own logic you can bust a light socket by inserting the wrong bulb or improper way, regardless of how easy you reach said socket. Does that mean it is complicated and dangerous to put in a bulb? Oh man things can blow up ! Give me a break.

Kia Souls are bloody good cars. In 7 years, my parents have only had the following- rear boot release (done under the 6th year of warranty) dead battery, and now, the rear light bulb. Two of the three happen on ANY car. If anyone says that Hyundai/Kia are junk, you are either a) parroting others or b) just had shit luck.

My light went out. Tried changing the bulb out and it didn't work. All my other tail lights work but that one. I've checked fuses they are all good. Only thing I can think of is the outlet itself is messed up.
