This kit works fabulous on my Highlander. As you recommended in another video, waze looks better than Google map. Which is what I am using now.

Excellent instructional clip Eric. I'm comparing the different systems / accessories for my 2019 Tundra that would allow me to display my Android phone on the display allowing me to use Waze or Google Maps and other stuff. Nice job of being clear and succinct, avoiding any background music that other YT content providers think is beneficial [NOT]. Also, does your system display anything that is on my phone, ie videos and browser content? And, since it looks like the Android Auto 'takes over the display' when using it, it might have been good for you to show the operation of cycling in and out of the newly installed accessory and the OEM system.

If you use the wired connection will the audio still go through Bluetooth or through AUX like the previous version? I would assume wired would have better audio quality/less compression compared to wireless

$650 for a kit to use your old bad resolution head unit? You could buy a brand new headunit with better resolution. Same amount of work too.
