What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the MDX: Wow MDX you were born in 2001 and now look at you, you're all grown up. Now in it's third generation for 2014 the Acura MDX continues to aim at the crossover luxury SUV buyers. The MDX was slightly getting outdated as new fresh competition was already out and this body style has been out since 2007. Power in the MDX comes in Acura's familiar and reliable 3.5 L V6 made into a 6-Speed Automatic with All wheel drive being available. On the interior of the MDX everything feels quite familiar in Acura's new design layout which doesn't disappoint and looks less cluttered with buttons this time around, however it might take some time to get used to. On the exterior you will find it to be much like the Acura's RLX notably on the front end with the LED jewel headlights which really clean and crisp and the whole car looks very much like an Acura. As far as the ride goes it's a nice clean and quiet ride and you will find it to be extremely comfortable. If you're looking to haul a family around in the MDX it won't disappoint, however make sure you only put children or small sized adults in the third row as space can get cramped. Cargo capacity can be an annoyance when the third row is up as the MDX limits with trunk space behind the third row, however with the third row being folded down cargo won't disappoint. Compared to it's competitors the BMW X5, Infiniti QX60, Audi Q7, and the Mercedes ML you will find that the MDX is a very nice luxury SUV that is pretty much in top of the class and should definitely be put on the test drive list if you're looking for a luxury crossover.
