Just checked mine and at first looked fine. I took the 18mm supporting bolt out to lower it and I could see the rubber was torn. Thanks for the video

My 2008 x5 4.8 transfer case mount went out around 170K miles.

I see play in the yoke. Judging by the rust around the caps, I say they're moving around. New shaft? Good call and a yoke.

can you please shared some updates with us, if the vibration went out after you replaced the bushing, what about the driveshaft U joints, I read somewhere that this play is within normal range, Thx

I don't necessarily have any vibration under any particular load but I do have it on rough terrain. Could this be the cause of rear seat vibration?

Were the symptoms just shuttering on acceleration? On my 2014 x5 35i , only in drive and acceleration, I hear a ticking or tapping bouncing off a barrier while driving. In Park and some acceleration, I get nothing, leading me to think its transmission related. I get a little vibration when the RPMs are low, but once moving, its very smooth. Did you get any audio cues from the U-joints or mount when driving with the window down? Thanks for the video BTW.

@@hassanmo6452 I'm still looking into it. Kind of difficult to diagnose noise issues when the car needs to be in drive and running. In your case, you sure is not just the fact that it's a diesel. All diesels have that tapping or clanking when accelerating. My Mercedes ml350 diesel sounded like an UPS truck when revved.

Mine is very bad I've had plenty of bmw diesels none have given me this problem I've done what everything has said regarding the prop shaft I've changed everything but problem is still there I'm dreading it might be a gearbox transmission fault and that's something I don't have the funds to fix atm lol

If you don’t have the bushing situation then it’s your transfer case oil. Don’t forget to reset your transmission after the change. The front drive shaft is suppose to be like what this guy is showing. That’s not an issue. Good luck

@@ronaldlaurent2884 actualy i fixed it.it was the output shaft left, the mechanic find out when it put the car on the elevator in Drive with the wheels running.You can’t see it with naked eye.it needs to be in motion.it was my case.maybe will help some other people.

@@germann289 it’s all the time. The driver side wheel was hit. I’ve done the wishbones and they were bent. And the ball joints were shot. But now can’t pin point what’s causing this shutter on deceleration. I assume could be engine mounts or cv shaft

I've been a mechanic for 20 years and can work on my own vehicles, I have never had a warranty on any of my cars. If you're someone that can't work on vehicles and are at the mercy of the dealer when theres a problem then I'd advise to stay away.
