I found about yuzuru just today while scrolling down KZfaq and I'm already ready to die for him, the passion he has, the power he has, the spirit he has...I already am a die heart fan, I'm already in love with him, I salute this man.

I like these commentators actually. They seemed very worried and considerate of Hanyu once they saw him close up. Even that commentator who said Yuzuru should go ahead and he's made of tough stuff acknowledged the injuries several times.

演技としてどうこうではなく順位としてどうこうではなくこの演技が1番印象に残ってる。 負傷してもなお、押し切って試合をするプロ精神に感服した。

The way he cried when he saw 1st place on the screen, it's so touching. Even if eventually he came out 2nd place , but the moment he saw that after his performance, the scores he obtained meant he was in the 1st place.... wow. I think it was the most emotional and most special 1st place for him in all his career. I think, even for the 2 olympic titles put together he wouldn't enjoy as much he enjoyed that no 1 that he saw then on the screen. His reaction said everything and he has skated in those conditions but he never gave up. He is a real fighter and also the most sensitive guy as well. I think that was the most valuable, distinguished and precious 1st place that he have seen in all his career in the right of his scores. What a guy is Yuzuru Hanyu!

oh gosh he is definitely deserved his 11 world records...his performance during this 2014 is also one of the best. i couldn't stop crying watching the whole video

it's so crazy how he could barely walk after the programme but still skated like his life depended on it and gave us the performance of his life, quite literally.

Man... He went 100% for those quads and 3A (all of them fully rotated)... To do such difficult jumps in that physical condition requires a lot of guts and determination. As a competitive skater myself, when I'm even with a little injury, it stays in the back of my head everytime I'm preparing to jump my doubles... I've been a fan since Pyeongchang, got super obsessed with him and knew this incident. But i could never bring myself to watch this because it's so hard to do so .. finally i felt like I was ready to, and I am so glad I watched this because my admiration towards him just went up another level. I have never seen anyone as strong as Yuzuru, I want to support him forever. It was sooo heartbreaking to hear his sobs my god

I already saw this several times... but, especially at around 14:56 and 19:12 , i still cant understand how calm and peaceful his face was, he was so invested in the program, even singing the song, while i bet his body must be hurting him a lot and his face was already so pale 😢

I was so shocked when I found this performance, and couldn't help shivering while watching, and then cried out. What a soul with strong and determined mind! The falls kept pushing yuzuru and the audience into a cliff of the desperation. Helpless and heartbreaking and yet you see the beauty and the emotions combined so well with those falls....I will never ever forget this program. No one would.

it is noticed that Yuzuru at the end of the performance didn't cry or care little how hurt he was, but after he was announced in 2nd place the tears streamed down his face. And what did I mean by that? Yuzuru was not caring about his injuries, even though he was very weak, but rather caring about his performance, whether he was doing well or not,I believe that crying can be mixed with several emotions: fear, joy,pain and relief. That's why I admire him so much, he works so hard♥️

Be it an artist or an athlete, its not just how good they are in their craft that makes them shine but its the purity of their heart which makes them shine even brighter. I think that is why he is so loved❤

我從來沒有看過滑冰可以滑得像他好看的選手，男生通常肌肉比較多表演起來也是身體稍微比較僵硬，但是羽生的表現就好像他是在冰上出生的，他的一切動作都是那麼的自然優美。他受傷的表演正好搭上歌劇魅影，感覺像就像是那位住在地下室的魅影，內心受傷而祈求愛。羽生是美的極致。同時他的意志力太驚人了。我被深深的感動著。羽生意志。music of the night. Thank you! Deeply touched. That was perfect.

What a champ! Gets injured but still skated on now that's a true athlete. Looks like an amazing routine and I wish he was well enough to perform it to his fullest ability. Still props to him for going on with this performance. ❤️

Столько времени прошло, а смотреть невозможно. Кажется, сбили умышленно, чтобы вывести из борьбы. Какая же сила духа у Юзи. Он свою гениальность всей своей жизнью в спорте доказал много раз, но как же больно смотреть на это столкновение. Люблю Юдзуру и очень уважаю, как личность. Здоровья ему и успехов во всем!

part of Yuzu's charm is how people are just attracted and drawn to him. You want to protect him. He looks so delicate and boyish but he has this internal grit and a steel mind! Amazing!

He cant barely walk, and hard to breath, but still... he bow to the rink before use his blade protector and went to kiss and cry spot. I was hesitate to watch this performance, it just too much! But when i finally push myself to watch until the end with eyes wide open. Though my heart broken, but i am grateful to be a witness of Hanyu brave, strong heart and mind, what a marvelous human being. He deserved where he belong right now. And I'm sure he still have so much to offers. Keep flying Hanyu!!

How much pain he had to endure....he got stitches around the jaw and back of ears....yet he managed to complete the performance with his maximum endurance and power of will. Anybody should be proud of his pure and intense love for the skating and his greatest passion.

There needs to be movie about Yuzuru Hanyu. Not only because of this injury and how he persevered and still performed an son silver but because of all the many many many MANY struggles, injuries and sicknesses he's been through and he still preserved through it all and got to where he is today. Yuzuru Hanyu is an outstanding ice skater and an even more outstanding human being.

I love Phantom of the Opera! And God... I wanted to hug him, even injured he did it until the end. Really, he is gorgeous!

All of his performances are art - but this, seeing how he keeps on so gracefully after falling, how he conquers his fear and his own limitations is incredibly inspiring! I wish he didn't have to go through so much pain, but seeing his drive and love for what he's doing and how it's pushing him in this performance... wow. I'll remember this. Lots of respect for this incredible man!

I can't watch this performance without getting tears in my eyes regarding Yuzuru's bravery. I also really like the announcer's, both former skaters they are always on the skater's side.
