I've owned Chevys, Pontiac's, a jeep, a Mazda and most recently a 2001 Audi A6. I traded that car in and bought a 2013 Ford Fusion SE, ingot silver with the sport appearance package one year ago. Since then I've put 25,000+ miles on the car ...and it's been great! Seriously. Absolutely no worries what so ever. A great car! I'd highly recommend the fusion. In fact my dad (age 68) liked it so much that he leased a '13 Fusion of his own. It's a great car if your in your 30's. It's a great retirement vehicle. And every age bracket in between. I could not speak more highly of the car if I tried. And no I don't work for Ford. Just check it out for yourself and I'm sure you'll agree. BTW... Cool key fob trick with the windows. My Audi also did that and until I watched your video I was unaware that the Fusion does it as well. It's a nice feature to have in Minnesota during the two months out of the year that we actually have "summer like" weather. Keep up the reviews. i have a 2008 Ford Fusion SEL and it is one great car. I have never had any issues with it and it starts every time in the harsh Canadian winters. You are correct in saying the mpg on it is not very good so that is why I am looking to up grade to a newer model Fusion. I sure hope the quality and durability is there as it is with my older Fusion. Thanks for you review.

i know i enjoyed driving the ford fusion it has the power you need and the luxury at the same time i was also impressed with audio as you mentioned in the video as well and another thumbs up with the country music you were playing and the ride is super smooth

I test drove 4 different 2014 Fusion's, 3 of them with the sport package, and they all seemed to have had hesitant/over-revving transmissions. They were beautiful, solid, and smooth otherwise, but I'm very weary of this ongoing transmission problem.

Well done thanks for this. Been driving a 2011 Fusion for a few years just wanting to upgrade a bit to the bluetooth and back up cam. This helped in making my decision to buy a newer Ford. Love my 2011 just needs a few more bells a whistles.

One thing that really drive me nuts is that my 2013 Fusion Titanium developed about 5 rattles after about a month of owning it. The headliner was rattle central. Fortunately, I was able to fix all of them myself. I didn't want Ford Techs trying to fix them because I knew they are probably going to make things worse. One thing that had to be replaced twice was the 12V battery. And at around 83,000 miles, the purge valve for the fuel system had to be replaced. Total cost of those repairs was about $600. Not bad at all. I don't regret buying it one bit. It's a blast to drive and looks very sexy.

We purchased a 2014 Titanium with 2.0L Eco boost and heated red leather seats. We love the My Ford Touch System with Sirius. Button touch start nice. We are at 17,000 miles and have only reached 28mpg so far. I'm sure the wide wheels are hurting that. Plenty of power and great handling. Really like the Bluetooth link also. I use Google Music.

I have a 2010 Ford Fusion SE with the 2.5l 4 cyl (140k miles). I've had it for a year and a half and only had to replace the battery. About 2 weeks ago the car started making whining noises when accelerating, not sure what it is yet but I will soon find out when I take it to the shop. I also started modding it and got a custom dyno tune put on it and it seems to handle it pretty well so far. Overall I really love my car but I really really want a newer Ford Fusion SE with the 2.0l ecoboost engine and appearance package.

I just purchased this exact car in Dark Side color. Same interior and options. 2014 SE. It is phenomenal. As you mentioned, it lacks a backup camera in the configuration you and I have. I am going to add a backup camera. I'll either DIY it if I'm feeling brave, or if I'm feeling sensible, I'll have a professional install it. There is a camera that works with the puny display but it might require a special module behind the display. I have the 2.0 liter EcoBoost engine. I drive it with a feather foot and get great mileage, but if you stomp it, this car is a rocket. You would not believe a 2.0-liter 4-cyl could power a 3,400+ pound car like this. I get about 27.5 MPG in local driving with a feather foot This is not NYC type local driving. There is some city-type and an open road here and there. I have squeaked out 35 MPG on the interstate, but that is 63 MPH and cruise control on flat roads. 70 MPH will get you less of course. Your mileage will vary. BTW, the seats shown in the video are unbelievably comfortable and they will make you feel like you are piloting the Space Shuttle. They are not the luxurious leather of the Titanium, but you will be very satisfied with them.

My wife and I just bought a 2014 Fusion SE ecoboost 2.0. Love the exterior as well as the interior. Feels very sporty and the power is more then enough for a 4 door family car. Our car has the 6 speed auto with paddle shifters. Fun car.

Thanks, this vid inspires confidence in the brand. I want the 2L Turbo, and the center mounted speedo, but not the touch system that usually comes with it. The backup camera is nice, but for audio and climate controls, I prefer standard push buttons. I like the center speedo simply because on the standard SE that you have there, the speedo is too far right and mostly covered by hand and wheel and I find it a bit annoying. Sunroof is a must as well. I just don't know if the 1.6L on the 2013 will give me the performance I desire.

I have a 2010 Ford Fusion with184K miles 2.5 non turbo and I get 25_MPG with the A/C on! I have a S/E! I drive it as a Taxi in Atlanta! One of the best cars I have ever owned or driven! I have never had any major problem with it! Always starts! The bad is the Value drops drastically! It cost 10K but only worth 3K, no trade in Value! It's time for something new but still one of the best cars I have ever owned!

Could you answer this if this Car also comes with a Manual Handbrake/ Manual ParkBrake as the next generation S-MAX is based on this Car and apparently the Handbrake/ParkBrake is standard fit Electric ParkBrake where as the Present generation is based on the Mondeo and has a standard fit Manual Handbrake, also this present Ford Fusion is said to come to the UK as the Mondeo in January 2015 also 2.0TDCI might be of use to the US Market as it is a 140BHP that will do 120MPH 53MPG 139g/kmC02(£130). and then for 2015 140BHP 120MPH 60MPG 117-120g/kmC02(£30) all UK Figures apart from the C02 emissions which is the EEC Directive Figures.

I think really Ford had to do this design with the Aston type nose before someone else did only so many classic styles out there people would recognize and I noticed subaru is doing a close copy of it also

I just bought a used 2015 Fusion Titanium that has all the "bells & whistles" on it. Love it so far, actually get's pretty good average fuel mileage being compared to a '03 Pontiac Grand Prix GT that I stepped out of. Even though I stepped down from a V-6 to a Turbo EcoBoost 4-cylinder I can't really tell that I lost a lot, just saying. My Fusion actually does have the Ford Touch with the back-up camera which is nice and need to get use to. I'll have to try rolling the windows down with my remote and see if it works? I went from a Dodge Charger to a Ford Fusion...big change. I have the exact same fusion you have except mine is equipped with a backup camera...500 miles so far and I'm getting 27 mpg....we will see how long that lasts. My first ford and so far I'm pleasantly surprised.

i drove the titanium 2 days ago. and its fun to drive,gas pedal felt weird like stuck but it went away a block or two after maybe it has to do with car being cold.sony audio system is awesome.touch screen controls and steering buttons arent user friendly at first.seats are confortable,avg mpg were 23 mpg after i reset.aux port is composite audio n video and its located inside the center console along with usb port n secondary 12v dc

Please comment on the difference between the 1.5l ecoboost and 1.6l ecoboost, I have driven the 1.6 ecoboost and the most annoying thing in that engine was the turbolag which was felt till 2500 rpm or so, so does the 1.5l ecoboost feel laggy at low revvs , the 1.8 tsi in the jetta is the benchmark for turbo lag,thats the car with least turbo lag in my opinion, does the 1.5l ecoboost sound quieter than the 1.6?

I bought the 2014 Fusion SE 1.5 ecoboost in Feb. 2014. I absolutely LOVE it!! It does everything I want it to. I really have a connection with this car that has never happened with any other car. So far the 1.5 engine is plenty of engine for me & I have a terrible commute in the suburbs of Washington DC area ( one of the worst commutes in the country per the History channel ). I hope this car works out for a long time to come. The My Ford Touch works great. I don't see the confusion that has been mentioned at all. It's very easy to use for me. I also love the sexy look of this car. I have the Metallic Sunset color & it is as beautiful as the sun setting. I love to leave work in the evening saying I'm riding off into my Sunset now 😉

Every windshield ever made since like 1966 have been good quality laminate windshields. Ford is really just labeling things to make them sound cool. That being said, this ride is pretty quiet... I just thought I would mention that their "Sound screen" technology is not valuable.
