Craig does the best reviews. His similes are sizzling and his alliteration is astounding. And for some reason when you tell cat owners that they've likely been infected with toxoplasmosis they get very defensive and somewhat hostile (which only adds further proof that they've been infected). Oh yeah and their jackets are usually covered in cat hair during the winter too.

i love the window switches as toggles. that way your rght hand is already down there for shifting and, since its your expendable hand, you can always keep your left hand on the wheel where it is when youre shifting..

Don't let the cute looks fool you. This car is a handful in terms of maintenance and reliability. VERY expensive. You can't treat it like it's a Honda or a Toyota where you just replace the oil and drive it to 100k miles. The MINI requires crazy attention. But back to the topic, the reviewer is one of my favorites. Quite a witty guy.

Why the US F56 MINI Weighs More than the Euro F56 One of the first questions I asked the MINI engineers present at the recent F56 MINI launch was about weight. The European F56 has lost weight compared with the R56, where the US-spec cars gained 60 and 90 lbs between the Cooper and Cooper S. While there’s much more standard equipment on the US cars as compared to the R56, they said that much of that new weight was from three US market changes to the F56: Two additional airbags at knee-level Massively reinforced B-pillars, designed for the NHTSA’s new rollover standards A larger, more substantial A-pillar airbag system.

Review the base model. That's what we care about. Less weight on the front axle. Plenty of torque. Should sounds loads better than the 4. I really thought the S would have an uprated 1.5. It makes 220hp in the i8, probably uses a similar transmission.

the mini cooper s pricelist here in italy cost 25,945.. plus this,plus that, plus those until the real price reach up to the roof, it's like buying flintsore car for 26K, and if you want it to become mini cooper s u gotta pay for another tens of thousands

The defining feature of the mini cooper is its small size. It pisses me off that they increase it. I might have to get an older model...I want the mini cooper to squeeze between rush hour traffic and still go the speed limit.

I'm I the only one who likes the new mini. The cooper 1.5 litres 3 cylinder 136 bhp 0-62 7.9 that's quicker than my Twingo Rs & it does 50 mpg plus nearly 60 mpg while the cooper s does about 47 mpg that's pretty amazing with the power your getting

And price?

Errr I have to wait 2 weeks before I can finally get my cooper s :(

So this guy starts by calling the car cute, and then he says that he can't tell them apart at all? Why is he the one giving the review? Just because it's a subcompact, doesn't mean you should jump to "cute". Also the front end looks a lot different than the R53 and R56 fronts. Also, he hates the toggle switches? 189hp from a turbo 2L is hardly palpitation inducing....the naturally aspirated 2L in the BRZ puts out 200hp
