Personally, I have always been a fan of Japanese K cars. I really wish that they would relax the standards, just a little bit, so that they would be exportable to the United States. We need to get out of our big SUVs. Now that things have settled down a little bit, people don't seem to be buying near as many small cars as they used to a few years ago. One of my favorite features, is the sliding rear doors. We have those on what you would consider multipurpose vehicles in Japan, such as the Mazda five, but I think that in cities like New York, I think these vehicles would be a real big hit.

If that is a Japanese market vehicle, I am slightly surprised that many of the interior markings (Engine Stop Start button, wiper and light switches, and the climate control) all have their markings in English. Being from the US, I never thought about that before.
