Hello everyone! Today's video will be about the second generation Peugeot 308. The car in the video is a UK-spec model with the 1.6 e-HDi engine producing 113hp paired to a 6-speed manual in Active trim.
Below is the list of 308 variants currently available on sale in the UK as of 16th December 2014. The list is arranged in order of the cheapest to the most expensive variant.

Beautiful cars, great to drive, much better than the golf, longer warranty, more room, more spec, couldn't go back to vw after owning the 508 and 308! Love them! Great review

+yamahaevo Company pays for all my maintenance costs, so don't really care. Up untill this moment, zero problems with the 308 though.

This is a lovely car to drive I have a 14 plate model identical to this review. Peugeot gamble on making this more of a premium car definitely is working for me. I do hope this model of car becomes successful

I feel with this generation, Peugeot designed it as a 'German-feeling' car rather than a 'French-feeling' car, which is good because it definitely feels as good as a Golf this time round. And I really like 308s.

@@aaron4310 I have 1.2 petrol 110hp. Pretty good car. Small issue with electric charging module or alternator but it's in garage now to fix that on warranty. Otherwise happy owner 😜

High-pressure Direct Injection. It's PSA Group's way of branding their diesel engines.

Yeah this is the mark two design of the 308 which was introduced in 2014. I own one of the mark one versions of the 308.

The interior is fantastic but exterior is a bit of a let down look like a boring Golf. Wonder why Pug give up on their previous 308 exterior styling.

The mark one version of the 308 of which I have was very similar to the 307 but rounded off. It's still a good car, the only reason I wanted a 308 mark one is because I had owned a 307 before it & loved the rounded off styling.

No, it's 8. The old 1.6 HDi 110 was a 16-valves. But the new 1,6 112/115/120 is a 8-valves. 100% sure of that ;)

+alexlovesmac Yes,it's SOHC instead of DOHC and 8v instead of 16v, as of 2011 (DV6C mark)

Bright Ivan There is no such thing as PureTech HDi. Yes. Only one THP variant.

There used to be another THP with the THP 125 but it was replaced with the Puretech 130, HDi is carried over but retuned from the previous 308 while BlueHDi is their new range of diesel engines.
