Just bought a 15 SR5 4x4 4Runner for the wife. She loves it. I love it. The power is fine. Power is like money, you can always use more. I drive a 15 Charger ScatPack but I've got the 4Runner today at work. Nice change of pace. From heavy metal to classical. Lol

A "dated" engine that is still more advanced than any Hemi engine that Chrysler offers lol.

dude stop talking about how this vehicle needs a V8. Has It occurred to you that people may be choosing this vehicle over others precisely because it doesn't have a wasteful, inefficient, behemoth of an engine underneath it? Stop nagging about it...and the 5 speed may be more rugged and reliable than the 6 spd and that may be precisely why they didn't switch that transmission. There are many people who want reliability and efficiency as opposed to wasteful, inefficient engine that may blow a tranny at the 100 k mile. As for the interior of the 4runner. I think it's spot on. Toyota did great work desiging the interior. BTW I am not a Toyota guy by any stretch of imagination. I only drove one Toyota In my whole life for a month in the 90s and it blew and engine out on a road trip. so never drove one again. But this 4runner is a spot on vehicle for many people who desire a rugged, reliable and more efficient REAL suv.

Runners have always been my favorite suv and probably always will be. There's just something about them that appeals to me.

Trading in my old trailblazer for a 2015 4runner this weekend, pretty excited, love how the back window has controls, perfect for my two boxers to ride in the back with some air.

You know how its amazing how the 4runner, or any toyota cars have changed over the years. especially for me from driving a 92 camry, 91 corolla, and a 95 4runner, I'm amazed how they've all changed into these good looking cars, but yet I do miss how they used to look.

The SR5 is underrated and so fun to drive. I would totally buy if it came with leather what comes with the limited mdoel instead of the Softex. Limited is closer to what I need but feels more "refined" and heavier than the SR5. Tough decision but a great truck nonetheless!

My sister has a 2005 4runner sport V8. I love that damn car. Quality like a Lexus. I can't get into the new 4Runner style.

Why I love Toyotas. Simple and classy design interiors, reliable and dependable. We are trading out 2012 jeep grand cherkoee overland for one of these. The jeep is the last chrysler piece of crap I'll ever own. 32K miles and it's had transmission issues, center console and dashboard replacements, cup holders broke, check engine light one, fuel system leak, transmission leak, starter issues, memory seating positions dont save. The list goes on and on and on. The fact that I'm due for 16 spark plug replacements at only 32k miles is beyond stupid. Chrysler sucks. Going back to my toyotas. I'd rather have less options than the jeep and in exchange have reliability and dependability.

I'm not a fan of new front end design. I would've consider one instead of our 14 Jeep GC limited but the new front end doesn't look as nice. I'm hoping the jeep doesn't have issues. So far we have about 10k on it and not a single problem.

Had the same problem with these jeeps, luckily I was on a lease and didn't have to worry about reliability, I had several times when I was on the highway and the car stalled, suddenly. The powers locks were acting up in cold weather and my sunroof leaked after a big rain. I also have a 1998 rav 4 first generation with 350.000 miles on it sunroof, power windows power mirrors and never ever had a single electric issue never a leak reliable as always. If you don't wanna suffer with a crap car like jeep just get a lease and test them for the time period. And if you want a car that last forever like this 4 runners buy it and enjoy it.i know there is peope who hate when someone gives good credit and reputation about toyotas but like it or not is the truth.

I love my 2016 SR5 Premium. I only have two complaints about the truck: 1 being not enough storage compartments (tons with the Tacoma). And the second is the constant correction of the steering. The truck does want to wonder but I can have the alignment tweaked to correct that issue. Overall, the truck is beautiful and it's really fun the drive.

As in the look, format, size of the clock is no different than the ones you'd find in their vehicles from the 80's. IMO It just looks like an afterthought

The only positive thing I can comment on is the body on frame and solid rear axle. 270 assless horsepower and an interior and exterior that wont last more than a few years.

Guys, if you really want a v8 with the current 5th gen 4runner-like? Get into a Lexus GX460. It's pretty much a 5th gen 4Runner, with a V8 but costs 20k+ more.

You tend to keep your opinion when it comes to the Cadillac Escalade.I've noticed your dislike for Toyota on previous videos, but so much praise for Cadillac. If you're giving your review that's cool but don't bash one & have love for the other, you're becoming like those Top Gear guys who hate nearly everything but Land Rovers & other British made vehicles.
