I bought the krator fairing that came with the mounting kit on walmart.com. The brackets that came with the kit are a little bit too small, so i had to bend it a little bit to make it fit around the forks. that's about all i had to do to make it work! And if you buy the same krator fairing i got, theres 2 pieces, the main fairing piece that's on my bike now, and also a small piece that's glued on the fairing that goes around the headlight. I had to take that piece off because it was too small to go over the stock yamaha headlight.

I got the krator fairing that came with the mounting kit from walmart.com. The fairing itself came in 2 pieces that were glued together. One piece was the main fairing itself and the other piece was a plastic piece that went right around the headlight. The piece that goes around the headlight is too small for the yamaha bolt headlight so carefully took it apart. After that i had to tweak the mounting clamps a little because the ones that came with the kit were a little small for the yamaha bolt forks. So try to get the mounts with the right length for yamaha bolt forks and it'll save you a lot of trouble lol.

my krator fairing came with 4 clamps to attach to the forks and there is a bracket that you screw into the fairing then the bracket attaches to the clamps on the forks. Maybe you bought just the fairing without the clamps?

@@chrislsarac I bought the clamps separately but I just can't seem to get it to fit. Maybe I bought the wrong size. Is there a way you can snap a pic and attach it on here ? I bought my fairing from Amazon btw. It's identical to the Harley version.

@@OGCJ10 are the clamps aluminum? Mine didnt fit at first either, i had to bend it a little where the two pieces slide in eachother to make it widen the clamp , then i would put one side on the fork first, then put the other side ontop or below it and then i used a screw driver and tapped it in to place.

i sold this bike a few months ago, but the saddlemen seat should come with its own seat bracket that screws into where the stock seat bracket goes, then from there just pop it in.

I was really close last month to trading my bolt in for a softail standard but decided to buy a junker 92 softail instead so I didn't have to say goodbye to the Bolt. I have a feeling these bolts are going to be good runners for years to come. I bet mine sees 100K on the original running gear. Good bike just a little blah.

@@HooDRidEWhiteY I am happy with the dyna. I got the 04 dyna low rider fuel injected. only thing i don't like on the harley are the brakes. the brakes absolutely suck! The bolts are definitely more reliable.
