This was the BEST v6 axle-back video of ALL of them out there; you demonstrated all conditions from idle sound, to reving, to outside pass-by, to real time highway driving sound. If only everybody else did this as well, we wouldn't have to watch as many of these exhaust sound clips in the first place. THANKS!

Just bought a 2015 v6 with this exact exhaust installed. It does sound a bit more aggressive paired with a manual transmission! Also, a bit quiet in the cabin which can be a pro or a con, depending on what you want.

+Arthur Soto Thank Ford for limiting the v6 not the aftermarket or the companies that sell aftermarket parts, Ford has a huge push on any ecoboost platform especially the mustang, it's easier to make power and it gets more gas mileage, I'm a huge fan of the 3.7 having owned 2 but the 2.3 isn't going away anytime soon. Best hope for is v6 guys is the 2.7 detuned version landing in the middle in the next 5 years but poor performance on the fusion right now isn't helping that

I wish they had more aftermarket support for the V6 as well. I know Ford marketed the V6 as the base model Mustang because of the potential of a FBO V6 potentially getting GT numbers in hp/torque for less money. I love all Mustangs (I owned a 2014 V6 Pony package and a 2018 ecoboost base model coupe), including the V8 variants - all beasts to be sure. If CAFE standards force car manufacturers to ditch the V8 to meet fuel efficiencies, you can bet that a turbocharged V6, I4 and hybrid variants will become the muscle/pony cars of the future.

I’m so jealous of the v6 sound. I have an ecoboost and I just put a new exhaust on it, and although it sounds great, the higher rpms sound nothing compared to this

I love my v6 mustang. Its beautiful drives so smooth and the gas mileage and power on regular 87 octane makes me love to cruise in it even more. Not hating on the gt but after driving my 2019 f150 with the coyote v8, the gas mileage kills me every time and i dont enjoy taking it on drives when gas is 3 dollars a gallon these days. I cant believe the gt gets even worse gas mileage than my truck! with a tiny 18 gallon fuel tank as well.

If you think about it, with all the power a GT has, you generally will only be using gears 1-4 for speeds up to about 70mph. Take the 4 gears of the manual GT 6 speed transmission as a percentage, and the same percentage for the hp is 300--the same as the V-6.

a twin cam 4v v6 deserves attention.. too bad the other offerings just overshadow the hell out of the v6. this sounds sick, with some true straight pipes it could sound 350/370z like.

I love the GT but the V6 isn't that bad either. It won't sound like a V8 but it doesn't sounds terrible either. It sounds good for a V6

I think this is a 4-cyclinder Ecoboost, not a V-6. The V-6 has a running pony with a bar going through the middle.

A quad-tip exhaust system will not work on the V6 since the quad-tip valences all require premium bumpers.

I plan on doing the Stage 2 upgrade to mine eventually but I am driving cross country in a couple weeks so I will wait until I get back. Just did Ridetech Coilovers and Baer rotor upgrades recently.

I got Roush axle back to add more sound vs stock exhaust but now I want to take it 1 notch louder, I have 15"V6 automatic and want to do a resonator delete with X or H pipe,But I heard when replacing resonator with and X or H pipe you also need long tubes or something for the V6..I need help ! Can I only add the pipe or do I need The whole set up?

Axle backs will have no effect on MPG. Many owners see a slight decrease when they change exhaust because they tend to rev it higher to hear it.

Rebuilder Mark the owner wanted black emblems and they do not make the V6 badge in black. I assure you it’s a V6.

Yes, it's terrible. The Bluetooth is horrendous. All they kept doing is pulling the neg terminal on the battery or pulling the fuse under the passenger side. That got tired really quick so I ended up putting an echo dot in the dash. I found that when I opened Snapchat up while the BT was connected it would stop working.

So much rasp, especially merging onto the freeway. if you want the same sound? Save your money and just get a straight pipe. When you get the muffler and look into it, it’s essentially a straight pipe. Waste of money IMO.

The car that we installed this kit on was a V6, we had also previously installed it on out EcoBoost as this kit will fit both.

Sounds like shit to me. So much drone and high pitched whine. The stock v6 exhaust sounds great. Pulled alongside a 2.3 in my exact color this week. He was showboating a bit, but when i dropped the hammer in sport mode we both knew. It sounds great. The sound is nice, aggressive and no drone. No v8 sound, but v6 race car sound for sure. The drone and whine on these after market jobs just sounds obnoxious and juvenile.
