I have a 2017 Ford edge sel I have a line convertor connected I was wondering i connected to the lines suggested but all I get is a budump budump or a constant hum it doesn't try to play the song what could I be doing wrong

We followed these steps for a 2020 Ford Escape. All the wire connections seem right, but now there’s no power to the rear driver speaker. Any ideas?

Good Atfernoon I need to ask you for a collaboration on the connections: Look, I just installed a subwoofer in my 2012 SEL Edge, using a line converter with gain control in the connection (Axxess AXLOC-RGC 2-Channel high-low level line converter with Remote Gain Center). The thing is that this converter needs an accessory cable with 12V to turn on when I want to use the radio and in turn send the remote signal to the amplifier, which I can't identify. Could you help me?

This unit had an auto sensing feature to automatically turn on the amp once it had audio over the units. No remote wire was needed.

My 2018 Egde doesn't have that firewall access. Is there another way to run power wire??

I just installed two of these in my 2014 Ford Edge Sport. It has Sony upgrade. I went to tap into the subwoofer like you suggested. There are 4 wires on the harness from the amp side & 5 wires to the 8" sub/enclosure. I attempted to polarity check the wires & didn't get anywhere. What wires should I tap into so I can finish my install?

did you figure this out? i'm dealing with it now.. i tapped into the rear speakers and the subwoofer is NOT anywhere near as loud as I know it can be..

Only tap two of the four wires like the green with purple stripe and the grey one if you tap all four you won’t get a sound so just tap those two wires and it’ll work also my subwoofer only worked using the left and right positive wires coming from my sub and amp wiring harness, no sound would come if I used the left and right negative wires idk why but me and many others that’s how ours onky would work

Can someone please help. I am getting very loud feed back through my subwoofer I had installed everytime I remote start my car. And when I open the doors, the loud bass stops. This happens weather I have the radio on on/off. Also when I accelerate, you hear the bass synced with the engine

Fake engine noise / ANC is what you have. This may be required to use a FORScan tool to remove it via software.

@@ProvoBeastAudiois there a way to do this without that tool sir like so you know where the whole adapter is for the noise cancellation ? I’m having the same exact problem loud irritable feedback and when the doors open it stops

My High level power converter has positive and negative for both sides and also has a separate ground. What should I do with the ground??

Well, grounds to go ground, but I can help you better if I knew what DC converter you are using.

@@ProvoBeastAudio for background I’m wiring a Boss Riot amp to power a 12” kicker compR. Sub isn’t here yet but I’ve spent the last 3 days installing wiring between work. I think I got it all figured out with a few forums and such though

Im new to car audio and am trying to install my first sub. The sub is a JL 12W0v3 4 ohms 300rms however the amp I have is a pioneer d9601 2400max at 4ohms is 500rms. Would this be ok to use? Also could I use a wiring kit that is rated for 600rms?

That amp is a bit overkill for that sub, but leave room in cause you decide to upgrade your sub down the road. For that amp, we would recommend 4 gauge OFC wiring kit.
