Thank you so much for your help! My wife has a bad bearing all of a sudden, and we're really short of cash lately so definitely need to do this myself. Getting the hub bearing delivered by Friday next week. Hopefully everything good in time for our trip to Mexico leaving on the 29th.

After following your video and replacing both of my gfs 2016 Fusion Energi Titanium hub assemblies, she's now mentioning a squeeling noise coming from the front. Many years ago I had a 1975 datsun 280z ago that I did the brakes on. I forgot to apply the grease on the back of the new pads, and that sound made me want to put the car straight into a wall. But for this job, I removed the entire caliper. I can't figure out where it would be squeeling from. Any (MORE) help would be greatly appreciated. Nice work on the video and thank you for your help!

Why does Amazon say the same part fits for front or rear, but when I watch people changing the front and rear bearings, the parts look different. The FRONT bearing has the CV shaft going THROUGH it. But the REAR bearing looks as though it has some sort of cap on it, and does NOT have a CV shaft coming through it. So, are the parts the same, or not???

Front and rear wheel bearings are the same Some of these cars are AWD. I believe the cap can be removed and put in the new one. Please only get the TIMKEN branded bearing. Those are ford oem manufacturers.

if i remember right this car only had 69k miles - was the bearing really bad? was it a noisy tire or the transmission?

Im getting a metal on metal sound. No grinding noises. Usually happens during tight turns inbthe morning. Seems to go away when the wheel heats up. Is this my prob. Were you getting wheel play at 9 and 3? Thanks in advance!

How did you know that the Bearing needed to be replaced?

Sounds like you're driving on 34" mud tires. A noise that gets louder as the car drives faster.

Timken is one of the cheapest brands. Do you think the are good quality?

Exact reason it needs changed after 30k miles .... a good wheel bearing should last about 80k or more

@@slayerfam2both of the front OEM wheel bearings on my 2018 lasted over 200k miles, the second went bad around 250k miles.
