Very clear and complete! This is the only one I’ve seen that mentions pushing the filter door downward a bit to get it to close. I replaced my Edge cabin filter before finding this video and struggled to close the door.

It's been a while since last post, so I will reiterate how clear and concise this little video clip is. Thank you! Yes, your little points about the filter cover (pushing down, and using screws) were very helpful tips for the lesser experienced DIY'ers. I am an industrial equipment specialist with decades of experience, and I know how easily some of these little things can be taken for granted. Appreciate it on behalf of myself and others! (I also have a 2017 Ford Escape Titanium, and that cabin filter is a pain in the butt to change because of where it is)

So straight & to the point. I'm gonna order 2 on eBay and save myself about $30 over the dealer's price. Thanks for the information.

Unbelievable, it’s that simple? I had an F-150 before and it took me a while and I had to use a screwdriver as well since I had to remove screws. Such a relief that this one will take a min or two and doesn’t require any tools.

So speaking of snapping, lol. They did just that when I opened them but it makes sense because there were also screws already in the hole.

I was able to unlatch the glove box and get a broken part that was prohibiting the door from being closed. And I was also able to check the cabin air filter, which is filthy and needs to be changed. Thank you!

Thanks for this video - great to see it is easy to replace - once you know the steps. Ford called me wanting to replace the filter during my oil change but the cost was going to be $95 bucks, I searched for the 2020 Edge cabin filter and found this video. I then called them back and said "No Thank You"! Granted, they are right it is crazy dirty, one is coming in from Amazon for $14 bucks :-)

do you know if the box light turns off when the box is closed? I can't say for sure but it looks like mine stays on all the time. It's a small LED light and it won't probably drain the battery, but it got me curious.
