same reason they dont use the dct transmission anymore. they are cheaper.

@@javierjimenez3627 let me rephrase, a soft top is cheaper to produce and easier to fix. a dct while awsome for fast shits still has some drivability issue and the current zf 8 speeds shift almost as fast with none of the dct drama. '

Such a cool car. My friend has a 420D cabrio and it looks exactly the same as this car. M4 exterior convertion.The exhaust note hits different though :)

I always thought it may look better with the rear headrests folded over or even removed if possible just so it doesn’t interrupt the liines with the roof down
