This is great on so many levels. Andrea and Rita compliment one another so very well in their singing. .Rita's trombone solo is excellent. Andreas tone is to wish for and with a perfect solo. Luigi's solo at first is shocking but so very appropriate.. Joan's bass is driving the beat with great energy. Josep's guitar solo is always spot on as is the great piano work and drums. Yes, I like it! :}

Every time I listen to this, I marvel at how it came to be that someone wrote the scat solo as a quartet, and even more amazing, these four young people learned it and practiced it until they totally nailed it. I am totally in awe at the talent of everyone involved at every step of the way. Bravo!!

As I was listening to Joan sing, I was thinking "Wow! What a beautiful tone this girl's voice has; along with outstanding vocal control...she was born to sing." But then..."What's this!? Now she's picked up a trumpet and has just started playing it as masterfully as she sings." Just how talented can one person be?

I will reserve this compliment for Andrea Motis, her lovely Stacey Kent like voice is smooth, sweet and seasoned all the way through. Always a joy to behold!

Maybe it is because of their overtone, Rita’s voice is somehow like trombone and Andrea’s is like trumpet. It is interesting that they happened to choose their instrument sounds similar to their voice. Well they both lovely anyway!
