Why is there NEVER a mention by EVERYONE that the auto trans SS comes with AFM (Active Fuel Management) which downsteps the engine from 8 to 4 cylinders when driving highway speeds????? Upon steping on gas engine will step-up to 8 cyl before falling back to 4. How does this affect the performance of this muscle car???

I've wondered the same. I've driven one, guess no one touches on it in reviews because you don't notice it. You really can't tell when it happens. While cruising on 4cyl nothing changes as far as feeling..as soon as u step on it it disengaged and lol same v8 acceleration.

Nice Ride. The exterior design is much more attractive than the 2016. The 2016, having seen it in person is not very attractive. Even though the look is somewhat similar, there's enough difference to make it unattractive. For the 2015, it sucks that Chevy has to drop 26hp for the automatic. I own a 2016 GT automatic and although I like the Mustang more in everything minus cornering and maybe look of the car, I'm appreciating the previous generation Camaro more, now that the new 2016 is here. The Z28 is extremely attractive but $$$.

Who would have traded this car in when they probably just got it? And correct me if I am wrong but is the gt with the 5.0 automatic have 430 horse power or is that with the manual?

It was traded in for a 2015 Mustang with that low of miles, kind of crazy. If you are talking about the Mustang GT with the 5.0 automatic, it still gets 435 HP. For some reason the Camaro loses power because of an Active Fuel Management system on the SS automatic.

Just4Cars Oh yeah the cylinder deactivation that chevy uses now for better fuel economy, personally I hate the cylinder deactivation. Why could they have not put that power in the newer f-150 this year? I mean being it`s the only V8 now and it could blow away all other big block V8`s if you now what I mean? ANd what`s the torque of the 5.0 in the gt?

+Gary Sellona The only difference between the two is the features that it comes with. The 1SS is considered the base, while the 2SS is the more loaded out version. Both with V8s

Ben Burleson No...it loses 26 HP to be exact. A Manual SS has 426 HP while the Auto has 400.

So much cheap material inside. Platic touch everything. The dash looks like simulated leather. If it's real leather it's not top notch. The silver inside looks like plastic chrome. Cloth interior. Ohh they have leather? For money tho. The gas gage, speedometer looms so ugly. Ur paying for the outside beautif of the car.... Bentley ur paying for every inch th at is perfect and highest of quality.
