It’s funny you say that, just yesterday I got a trade in at the dealership I work for. It’s a 2011 Cruze 1.8 manual. The car had close to 170k miles and drove impeccably. The original window sticker was in the car, MSRP (shipping included) $16,995. What happened to nice cheap cars?!

I’ve had mine for a year and a half now. That’s my only complaint too, needs a little more power. After driving most of its competition, this is one of the best in its class.

N&T Auto Reviews how’s the reliability? I saw one for sale with 103k miles and it looks great! But the mileage was just a downside.

What mods?

I got a cold air intake, down pipe custom exhaust msd racing ignition coil, and a zzp tune. I’m getting more done to it. But then I just got the lane departure warning and a kicker system. It’s got navigation and all the fun stuff. It’s pricey but so worth it. People don’t believe it’s a Cruze at first when I take it to the meets. I’m also planning on keeping it until it gets totaled which hopefully never happens.

Lmao trust me, these are not quick or fast cars. 138hp is basically the least powerful engines you can possibly get for a 2015+ 🤣

@@johnvarnes2457 Its a Chevy cruze dude. Your car and you can do what you want but I'm just telling you you're dumping your money into a car nobody will care about and modding an engine which in no way, shape, or form was built for performance. Theres a reason why its called the "ECOtec"

I have went through many cars since the Cruze lol! However I now have a 22 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and I’m waiting on a Camaro 2SS Convertible I recently ordered.

Just heated

It does not have start/stop, which I am thankful for. Although the car I have now does have it and it’s very seamless and works well, I don’t like the idea of it. It does save you on gas (a few mpg better on average on my daily commute) however I’ve heard this system is prematurely wearing on your battery and starters. Great first car though, I loved it!

The LTZ mirrors should also fold in automatically (mine I have to fold manually) and you should have sensors on the bumper.... put your VIN in my.gm.ca/gm/en/login Not sure what the site is in US

ok, so I guess I was talking some shit, I looked in my Chevy Cruze brochure. Apparently the LTZ does not have the Diesel option, there is a trim called 2.0TD which is the only one. You could get an RS package also but the car will have the "2.0TD" badge.... the only extra that the LTZ has over my 2LT(RS) is: - Rear Cross Traffic Alert - Side Blind Zone Alert - Park Assist - Automatic single Climate control Everything else is available or included with the RS package. The mirrors folding in automatically, I might have mixed up with another car, btu swore I've seen an LTZ do it, but I do know the LTZ non RS has small round sensors on the bumper, for the RS it could be hidden.

@max J. hey Max did you read my other replies... when I posted I was going by memory... and I was wrong about some points... but I checked my specs from my documentation the came with the original car and I am pretty sure it is accurate...

The pain of all Cruze owners 🤣🤣🤣 But still, it's pretty easy to work on and there are hundreds of DIY videos on KZfaq covering any repair job you could think of, and there are solutions for every issue (mostly PCV) so it's not bad if you're one of these people who like to work on their cars 😀

Have a cruze LS 2013 bought the car basically new and its already 2024 and the only thing I've done is change the oil, no issues one of the best running cars I've ever had.

@@inky_._ghoul because I actually owned it around 3 years. Everyone else is either commenting on the video review or has just purchased it. It’s a crap car and I do not recommend it at all. Go Toyota or something else. I just trade this in so glad I did.
