I like his videos, he doesn,t talk or play annoying background music.His bench press technique with that bell housing/gearbox is impressive, i tried something similar when doing my relay clutch, nearly had a hernia. He also goes the extra mile lubricating the release bearing fork, good job, i would hire him if i wasn,t mechanically decent myself.

Excellent video again. Just spent 3 days under my boxer 2.2. Your video disguises what a tight and messy design it is around the gearbox (especially the hoses). Probably the result of trying to fit a transit engine into a fiat/citroen/peugeot engine bay. Well done.

Lieber Kevin, tolle Arbeit! Ich schau deine Videos schon länger, und jeder der mal eine Kupplung gewechselt hat weiß wie schwer ein Getriebe sein kann. Vor allem die Getriebe vom Ducato, Jumper, Boxer. Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland / Leipzig Mach weiter so 👍

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THAT VIDEO! Without you i would not have dared to change the clutch on my citroen Jumper. It took me 2 Days but i made it, it runs beautifully now! So happy! Also i dont know what kind of arms you have to lift that gearbox like that. Holy guacamoly.

Congrats for putting so much effort in this and also for the additional time and energy spent on filming and edditing videos so you can show it to us. I am wondering how many jobs per week do you normally take? I am looking forward to chainging my job and start working on cars too and want to know if it is worth it at the end. I'm new to watching. Been a mechanic for a few decades myself, glad to see I'm not the only one that uses my leg to operate the jack while laying under a veh.....lolol.... Anyone who knows cars can obviously tell what you're doing at any given time, but I'm just curious why you don't "talk to your audience" while working? If it's just you want to "get in-get out", then understood. GREAT job all the time! Stay safe!

fantastic job you made a difficult job look easy , i did my Citroen relay 2014 clutch last year and it took me two days my mistake was i couldn't get it lifted high enough up and support it safely and i struggled with the gearbox . I tried numerous garages but no one was willing to do it so i had to do it myself ! . total agree with all the comments on your content top work .

What happens if you dont do clutch in a day? Do you go back the next day to finish it as we all know you travel some distance to do them

Very hard worker. Have you ever done a Saab 9-3 1.9 TID? Its same engine as Vectra c diesel. If so do you have a video on that? I'd get you to do it but I live all the way up in Manchester so want to have a go myself. Dont trust garages but you're passionate in what you do and do it right. I've done a MK6 Golf GT TDI before but cant find any videos online step by step how to do a Saab 9-3 1.9 TID

greetings Kevin from Greece.You are a specialist.i want to ask you in a fiat ducato 250 (2013) ,i unscrew all the screws of the gearbox but i can not take out it.only one centimetre.i can move it but not tske out.what i am doing wrong? maybe it must be in neutral gear?

Man I have done these on a lift and there hard enough, your a beast doing them on the floor💪. Do you charge per hour when pricing or depends on the vehicle? Great video as usual 👌

Morning..🔥🍻.. that is the only clutch alignment tool in my arsenal .. believe it or not that tool has fitted 3522 clutches 😁🥇

@@N269 Probably. However, if you watch this video, eary on he undoes a sump plug on the gearbox (square bit required by looks of it) drains the oil out, this is so it doesnt leak out when removing the driveshafts. But if you wantd to do a gearbox fluid change, just drain it out of there and refil it from the top "black bung" as you referred to.

Good point if it wasn’t for that wobbly I would not have managed the couple of bolts right at the back. Could get a ratchet on there to have enough leverage to crack it. The spanner would have rounded it off.., and the two retaining pin that holds the driveshaft in place. A very very bad design. Most manufacturers put a clamp with two 13mm bolts over it. But that pin system always rust in place and breaks as soon as you touch them. So lots of WD40 was needed to avoid any mishaps.
