Hi guys, amazing video, I have the UAG 7 Inch, I have a 2016 Dodge challenger and have installed an OEM backup camera and plug in to the radio, but the camera isn't showing on reverse, I have to go to the Engineering Menu to see image from it, I already buy and used an OBD Genie but still not showing image km reverse, you guys have something to make the backup camera work?

I have the UAQ radio swapped in my 16 hellcat. Lately the nav will work fine then will suddenly end up in the middle of nowhere. Is there an update to fix this issue or some other remedy. Thanks

Yes. Apple CarPlay requires a specific hardware. The OBD Genie comes with the upgrade kit.

It depends on which 8.4 upgrade you choose. The RA3 and RA4 8.4 upgrades don't have Apple CarPlay capability. The 2 options compatible with your vehicle that offer both an 8.4 touchscreen and Apple CarPlay are below: (You can contact one of our tech advisors at 855-636-6287 or via the chat feature at the bottom right-hand corner of every page on the website. They can use your VIN to confirm all compatibility.) UAS This doesn't have onboard navigation, you can use CarPlay for Nav, but does have Apple CarPlay and the 8.4-inch screen. What if you have a charger that has heated and vented seats along with heated steering wheel , I’ve heard there’s been issues with those

If your Challenger is a 2015 and currently features heated seats, ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, you will lose the ability to manually turn these features on/off. However, the automatic control of the seats will still function.

8 have a 2015 awd sxt plus, i want to upgrade my unit but i dont want to loose the ability to turn on my heated and coold seats, from what i read on your web site awile back it said your company is workinb on this issue. I like the auto function, but in the summer, I like to ride with it on low cool so i would like to be able to turn it on manually

We now have a complicated solution. If your Charger is a 2015 model and currently equipped with heated seats, ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and/or sport mode, you will need to purchase a new Body Control Module to maintain the ability to manually control these features. Once you have the module, it needs to be installed, and a PROXI Alignment must be performed at a local dealership. We don't sell this BCM at the moment so it would have to be purchased from another source.

On your website you mention that the 2015 with heated and ventilated seats, you losse the ability to turn them on and off manually. Is it only for the 2015 ? Because I have a 2016 and i'm really interested. Do the 7in have the ability to have heated and ventilated seats or I have to get the 8.4 ?

Yes they are wired through the center console typically on most vehicles. Wireless came out in 22 for the Rams and will soon make its way to more vehicles.

This is perfect software!!! My only question is if this would work on the older Dodge cars that had the 8.4 screen? (cars from 2011-2015) The software was REALLY old, so im curious to see if you could possibly program them to work OEM and flawless as if they were newer! Anyone know?

Our OBD genie programmer for the Charger/Challenger is only required for the 7" UAG upgrade, it is not required for the UAQ 8.4" upgrade. 2019 Challeneger… Screen just cut off wont cut back on.. low popping noise through my speakers, so I took out the fuse and the popping stopped… Tried to do the reset by pressing the knobs, unhooked the battery and still nothing… fuse is not blown and even bought a new fuse… Any idea?? Hopefully I dont have to replace it because they’re talking $2300

Does the UAQ from a jeep match up to a dodge? Are all UAQ the same from dodge,keep, Chrysler?

For the most part yes, with some exceptions. But the programming is what needs to be specific to the vehicle.

Yes. Keep in mind that the dealer may require you to show proof that the radio isn't stolen. If the radio came from a vehicle with the same make, model, year and features, you might get lucky and not need programming.

It is unique to that 7-inch kit and is not require on the 8.4" upgrades.

The upgrade is set to a factory OEM standard. We are not able to accommodate any kind of after market amplifier upgrades. But since this is a factory OEM upgrade, you would just need to verify that the amplifier that you chose is able to work with factory OEM equipment.

There are many aftermarket solutions that would work but we don't have an OEM solution that is compatible with CarPlay and Auto for that year.

You would have to ask the aftermarket manufacturers. We only work with factory equipment. The extended answer involves programming and factors of scale.

Because we can't start the vehicle inside the install bay. So the ignition is turned to on, which causes the dash lights to come on.

@@demonofjapan if your Challenger currently features heated seats, ventilated seats, and a heated steering wheel, you will lose the ability to manually turn these features on/off. However, the automatic control of the seats will still function

I just got a 2015 dodge charger se from my ladys ex husband who is going to prison for a long time... needed this video since he punched out the radio screen... cut the springs 2", 91 octane tune.... time to fix this bad boy up also only 74k miles!!!

Unfortunately the tech is just not there on a 13. We want these kits to work on as many vehicles as possible but we have not found that this works on 13's. Sorry about that.

You guys make terrible units! They have a notorious delamination problem and know it's a problem . And you do nothing to fix the problem!
