The Hispanic Heritage Awards were established by The White House in 1987 to commemorate the creation of Hispanic Heritage Month in America. The Hispanic Heritage Awards are considered among the “highest honor for Latinos by Latinos” and recognize notable Latinos who have made a positive impact on America, and the world, in various fields.
Pop singer Becky G, performs her hit songs "Lovin' So Hard" and "Shower".
Rebbeca Marie Gomez, better known by her stage name Becky G, is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and rapper. Musically, she lies between pop-rap and Latin pop music genres. She gained recognition in 2011, after she posted several videos of herself performing remixes of popular songs on to KZfaq. In 2014, Becky G had her first Billboard Hot 100 entry, with "Shower", peaking at No. 16.
