As someone who "grew up" with Ralph Fiennes (I was a teenager when he first became famous), I am so gratified to see how beautifully he has aged, both in the physical and (especially) in the emotional sense. I hardly have words to describe how *lovely* he is in this speech. My favorite moment is at the start, when he gets ever so slightly choked up at his dear friend Liam Neeson's presence; my second favorite moment is when he mentions his sister Martha with such fondness and gratitude that it seems almost to bring him to tears. It's endearing to see how modest he is. Ralph Fiennes, may God bless you and your family and friends. Thank you for sharing your talent and your humanity with us for all these years. Oh, and thank you for showing me that it's perfectly okay to be gentle, shy, and even vulnerable before others.
