Hi Than, You shouldn't have any issues. No vehicle is indestructible, and anytime you had more weight and traction to the drivetrain you'll have more strain, but we haven't experienced any issues. In fact, we've actually upgraded to slightly larger 275/70R18s and still haven't had an issue.

+David Andrews The WK2 front diff only uses traction control. it does have a ELSD

+Taxerz After watching this video I read that jeep downgraded QDII and got rid of the front ELSD. That's a shame really because a WK or an XK would have walked that without all that banging and wiggling around.

​@@davidjimenez1595 Yes, I have. They're one of our competitors. Of course I'm biased, so I think we have a much better solution. Ours is much stronger, provides better cooling, allows you to reinstall the lower front fascia and IMO looks much better. That's not even mentioning the very substantial quality difference between the 2 companies products.

Would you choose a Limited instead upgrade with mods instead?

@@ChiefProducts Two reasons: 1. Midsize SUV at 4X4 mode should have demonstrated more convincing performance. 2. Driver skills are poor. Firstly, the driver stopped too many times while engaging the ditch instead of keeping a slow pace. Secondly, the driver did not lower tire pressure before engaging the ditch.

@@thatmichiganguy I'll have to talk with our camera man. LOL! In reality this was a fairly challenging short trail that other 4x4s (some fairly modified) were unable to navigate. I guess things don't always look the same on camera. In my experience, there aren't many midsize luxury 4x4s (with stock suspension and stock axles) that would've traversed this trail. To your comments - The driver was extremely experienced with over 30 years of off-road driving experience, (the same driver from this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/g7p7qKuYqprPdqc.html). The reason for stopping/starting was due to lack of traction, not poor driver skill. Tyre pressures definitely could have been better, I think they were about 21psi for this trail. They were kept at 21psi to protect the fairly short sidewalls (18" wheels) on the extremely rocky trails that were encountered that day, and the driver didn't stop to optimise the tyre pressures for this one short trail.
