Everyone talks about the Matty gaffe. But it was the BU skaters all out of position in that d-zone face off that led to Providences GWG.

I play providence Jr Friars hockey and hope to be there someday, weird hearing eichles name there considering he is now in the nhl

Classic Hockey East game meaning tempo is super fast. Providence always has been dark horse in Hockey East. It is a team able to knock out top 5 Hockey East teams in second half of the seasons. This year BU Men Hockey should have won. My hopes were 99.9 percent BU, 1 pecent for Providence. Providence is a team if you lose focus they will bury you. Next year for BU hockey.....

If o connor planned on going to the NHL........ well lets just say thats not gonna happen anytime soon. Goalie cant even pay attention on whats going on around him.

basportsfan This will in no way shape his future. What do you think this is? These guys are among the best young players in the world, and O'Connor will be judged on how he bounces back from this, not on the goal itself... I mean, jesus h. christ on the cross, buddy, do you know what you're talking about?

Did you not see his game against North Dakota? Its like he wasnt even paying attention that another player was coming down the ice. The freakin puck bounced off his skate and he couldent even locate it. During the championship they showed multiple times of Matt IN THE TOURNAMENT acting like he never played before doing the most simple of mistakes. I am surprised at the fact that you guys dont agree with me. Matt o Connor single hanedley fucked up BU from getting the championship and messed it up for my man Eichel to get his ncaa hockey championship before he goes to the NHL.

basportsfan Never mind that as a starter for BU he had a .927 save percentage and is simply put a coveted goaltending prospect. Everything you just said (bitching about some mistakes he made in a handful of games) has been nullified.

its not nullified. It shows that when its time to show up for the playoffs ( if he goes to the NHL which i hope does not happen) he is gonna choke. I have never been more annoyed watching a goalie before in all my days of watching hockey.
