Just replaced these on my wife's car 2014 sentra. Hers was running fine but while driving it would lag and her rpm would go down. You'd press accelerator all the way in and nothing. When turning on the car too, the pedal icon wasn't on and you could start the car without pressing the break. Bow after the new parts, it works!!! MAF could also be a symptoms l, I cleaned it prior to doing the brake sensors

I had this prob, w/ non-start and hard-brake. I fixed it just by removing both brake and cruise control switches....then immediately plugged em back in & gave them a wiggle, and my car started !! Musta just been bad connections. Nissan should recall this. Anyhow, just thought I'd chime in, in case this might help someone who is stranded & desperate.

Absolute respect to you brother. We been having issue with my cruise control for the better part of 6 months and I been wondering what went on. I took her to the shop 2016 model only 74k miles on it and it came out broken even further AND the lights would stay on. These fucking idiots didn’t just push it in all the way and they were talking about a 1600 dollar payment for a whole new sensor. That might fix our issues, On top of that the 200 I paid plus tax to get it looked at AND the car no longer was going past 2.5k rpm. I’m thinking I got bad gas or some shit come to find out this all ties in to 1 big thing. So thank you sir on saving me a lot of money I will NEVER buy another Nissan again. I will learn to fix my car myself I’m sick and tired I even found some random plastic piece over the damned things that was blocking the connection I think this was on purpose. 6 years we been there I refuse to work with them further

Hi I'm having an issue with my gas pedal when I push down on the gas pedal there's like no acceleration and I can push it all the way down and then eventually it'll kick in and then it will give me acceleration. I was told by the mechanic that there might be an issue with the brake sensor that for some reason when I'm pushing down on the gas pedal it's not registering so it's telling the computer that it needs to break and so it doesn't allow the acceleration to occur. Is this accurate?

What are the names of each individual switch

I have this problem now my question is I have been able to kind of shake that switch to get it to start sometimes and two separate times after I did that and once I was driving and at one point my car was not wanting to accelerate and my brake light came on but my car didnt slow down it just stayed at one speed and I could not accelerate and once my brake light went off my car accelerated just fine. That was cause by the faulty brake light switch correct? Or do I have a second issue on top of my bad brake light switch?

after fixing this I got VDC light keep coming on, after short distance driving , also after switching the car off the brake back lights take a min or two to go off when I lock the car. !! any idea ??
