I can’t believe people waste their time calling the cops on other vehicles because they don’t like their driving. The cops really don’t care unless you’re doing something crazy, and even then they’ll just tell you to stop when you get pulled over for something unrelated.

I remember going over a bridge at 300+kph, the bike got airborne for half a second. Looking back, may have been a stupid thing to do, but it makes one hell of a memory I’ll never forget.

I bet at those speeds getting airborne is probably equivalent to flying lol

I’ve gone airborne at 80mph when I had a ninja 300, wind was blowing like crazy on the motorway, I went over a small bump that was like a ramp. The wind and air time landed me in a completely different path to what I was doing

👀Freaking nuts bro! Hey, atleast if you go down at those speeds and hit the pavement with no gear on and only wearing a T-shirt you won't feel your entire body being degloved of skin cause you'll be dead.☠️ Safe travels my friend ✌️

This feels very passive aggressive... like someone who’s mad that their mom won’t let them ride without putting on a big leather jacket 🤓
@mrmuncheez3743 жыл бұрын
@@jar7d maybe a little, but come on.. That's pretty dangerous what he's doing but it's his life in hands. The thing is I just was hit by an 83 yr old lady in July on my motorcycle (2019 Ninja 650) and I was only doing 40mph. She came flooring out of a side street and made a left right in front of me at the last second. I was thrown from my bike with such force and went right over her car, hit the road and ended up spending 12 days in the hospital. And yes, I had on full gear ( head to toe) and it saved my life or at the minimum it saved me from even worse injuries. As it is I had to have reconstructive knee surgery (left knee). I broke the tibial plateau and a piece of bone ripped away and was 4 inches up my leg. I still have a torn ACL that has to be fixed at a later time.I broke the top of the left femur too. I have a fractured right clavicle. That right shoulder has a SLAP tear (which may need surgery at some point), that's from me landing on that shoulder when I hit the road. I'm still doing intensive Physical Therapy. I can't imagine if I was only wearing a T-Shirt how much more badly hurt I would have gotten and top of that I would be dealing with bad road rash. I just couldn't imagine, so yeah I guess I do preach about wearing gear cause of how it saved me. I guess my comment also came from a painful place while still recovering and due to someone else's mistake. I guess I can also see the possible danger to others on the road when a motorcyclist does 140-150mph weaving in and out of traffic just be totally reckless, because this women effed me up so bad with her negligence. IDK if I'll ever get on a bike again. I know I can't go through something like this again. so seeing someone purposefully rolling the dice with their life gives me this sense that I have to comment.
@jar7d3 жыл бұрын
Doug Clarke well it’s just the risk you take being on a motorcycle and the risk you take to have fun. The way I see it, because I ride like gixxer brah does, we will ride hard with or without gear, and the way we ride, gear will not save us if something happens, so you might as well ride in what’s comfortable and makes you feel more confident in your riding ability, because if you feel restricted or uncomfortable riding like this, you’re just asking for issues. Personally, I hate jackets because they catch so much air and blow me around in my lane. All I wear is pants, helmet, gloves, and a chest protector. I don’t want road rash, but I wont live my life uncomfortably out of fear
@mrmuncheez3743 жыл бұрын
@@jar7d exactly..too each their own and you'll just live with the consequences should something happen. But man, you also may end up not dead and just really wishing you threw that jacket on that day? The ER, Trauma and Surgical team all told me stories of people that came thru those doors in horrible condition and missing so much skin. It's just such an easy thing you can avoid if you just wear some gear. Broken bones are bad enough, but missing large swaths of skin is even more painful. Especially how they have to clean it and skin graft it. Anyway.. Peace.. Good luck and ride safe out there! ✌️

I understand both side of the accident coin, several accident later and a pelvis that won’t heel I will ride again and again, best way to get over fear after a motorcycle accident is to get back on your bike with the pain, try to ride with no gear apart from gloves and boots . It will let you loose all fear knowing you have to be a better rider. When my pain is so intense I get on my and ride.
