Looking back to this, despite the bad feedback Axl got back in the day, he did excellent job in AC/DC. Fans should also joice these performances simply because they played more Bon-era material than they have done with Brian in ages.

Axl used to sing AC/DC tracks in the 80's. The Guns N Roses cover of Whole Lotta Rosie is great. They are my two favourite bands, but when I first heard that he was gonna be singing for AC/DC I wasn't very exited about it. But he did an outstanding job

Axl sang to acdc like he used to sing on 80s and 90s. Absolutely amazing. But I don't know why he can't sing like this on guns n roses.

As challenging as the acdc stuff is, it's not nearly as difficult as guns stuff because most of Brian Johnsons vocals are consistently high with little low ends. Guns vocals are all over the place with lots of jumps.

Which is what pissed me off. He sounded so good with AC/DC and then sucked by the time he got to Seattle, WA USA with Guns N' Roses in August of 2016. He wrecked his voice on the AC/DC tour that he had nothing left months later.

1:12:41 - 1:16:13 - Ladies and Gentlemen, Axl blew this song out of the park. That's the best rendition I ever heard done. He was made for this. Frankly, I would bet even Brian Johnson wish he could have carried the tune as smooth.

Axl has been good for 5 (maybe 6) years, his style was perfect with the instro parts of GnR.... But he has never been able to capture AC/DC spirit. He also destroys "Shot down in flames" 🤦🏽‍♂️

At first i was pissed because Angus had axl singing for AC/DC but I've gotta give to axl he did a kick ass job and was very professional with the band by always showing up on time

Iam a fan off AC DC,but never get the school uniform out fit as a teenage kid who simply hated School I tried to forget going back after the long school hoilday !

Brian had issues with his ears but now he can sing even better than he did during that Rock or bust tour

Phil rudd has just said that he wouldn't perform with axel...saying he doesn't rate him at all and he's not good enough to front the miteyy DC !!

Yes. That's been an issue known for a few years. Frankly, Phil's wrong because in a lot of ways Axl has literally outperformed Brian's recordings. Shook Me All Night Long and Have A Drink On Me actually sound better here with Axl singing than Brian in his youth. The key I think is Axl being able to hang on that high note much longer and higher than Brian ever could.

Phil's an all-time great but that's a hard call, if it's true. Axel did great and I was very sceptical and maybe the last person to say it BUT the more I see, the more I appreciate his sincerity, effort and ability. Great job 🤘👍

I don't get why they were bitchin' about.... Axl is a legend. He will have an awesome, icredible performance and male bitc es will always have sth to say.....this happens since the begining, even when he was at his prime. Axl must give zero fs but it is f''''''n' annoying......
