This is seriously misguided horse psychology... Gary uses what he has learned about horses, to further subject them to the horrors of the racing industry. It's like counselling sex workers to better enjoy their work and complain less. Overwhelming evidence and studies continue to prove, that horses are both physically and emotionally not designed to train, race, train, race and repeat. If the horses best interest is at heart, Gary would be using his psychology on humans who persist in denying that racing harms horses. Countless stories are told about 'difficult' horses owned by 'trainers' (I cringe using that word). These horses aren't born difficult and they are not 'difficult'. These are horses who have people problems. Sadly, Gary believes he has to fly in and fix the horses. If he took the blinkers off of his own eyes, he would have a youtube video about fixing bad trainers and their shockingly antiquated training techniques. Rant over.
