A video tutorial on how to unlock, open and start a 2016 - 2022 BMW 7 series, including the 740i, that has a dead key fob battery. There is an emergency key located in the bottom of your BMW 740i remote key fob. You will remove the key from the remote key fob and use it to unlock and open the BMW driver's door. After opening the door, you will then need to start your BMW 7 Series by placing the key fob next to the key icon on the steering column. Replace the dead battery in your remote key fob as soon as possible.
