Is it true that the FWD model does not come with a spare tire? I didn't see any mention in your review.

Fwd models come with the tire inflator kit.

Isn't it weird they put the newer 3.5 Direct Injection V6 with 9 speed transmission for the 2016 Honda Pilot but would NOT do the same for the 2016 Acura RDX (still have the older 3.5 V6 Multiport Fuel Injection)? I guess that would be too close to the 2016 MDX. I think Honda is doing things backward where the better technologically advanced features seem to go to the Honda brand first then triggered down to their 'supposedly' luxury division, the Acura. I guess RDX will eventual get the Direct Injection engine in a full redesign model.

more fuel-efficient maybe but long-term ownership is a disaster so calling BMW, Mercedes, etc competitors are funny to me. Those brands have a long history of poor reliability vs the Acura.
