This is the 2016 Audi A3, the smallest sedan available from the German car-maker here in the USA. The model we're testing is loaded with some advanced features. See how they all come together on this episode of the AutoNation New Car Test Drive.
The 2016 Audi A3 2.0T Quattro sedan has a 2-liter turbocharged motor that is capable of 220-horsepower and 258-lbft of torque. This turbo engine is paired with a 6-speed S Tronic transmission with Quattro all-wheel drive. For a small sedan, this Audi A3 packs quite a punch.
The trunk area provides a serviceable amount of space and also includes hangers for things like grocery bags. The second row is spacious and has a power socket for keeping your passengers comfortable and their electronics charged.
Push-button start, navigation software, dual-zone climate control, and seat warmers all add to the experience of the driver, perfectly combining the luxury and efficiency we've come to expect from Audi vehicles.

I bought this exact car (colour and all) as a super low mileage CPO a few weeks ago. It's a fantastic performing little sedan that is way more fun than I thought it would be.

Hey man do you still have this car ? I’m literally about to purchase a monsoon grey metallic 2016 a3 sline and I loved the test drive but wanted to know about reliability ? This one has 55k going for 20k in Canada but has been in bad accident . Fully repaired by Audi

I love my '16 A3. It's small and sporty, it has quattro AWD for great handling, looks great inside and out, it's comfortable, and it has plenty of technology especially for an entry-level car.

I just bought a '16 Audi A3 2.0 black/black and I'm loving everything about this gem! I traded in my 2003 Isuzu Rodeo that I bought brand new in 2004. All this new technology in this car is unreal! I'm lost! Lol!

Great review, with much that is still true on the 2020 I bought in Nov 2020. Got a sweet deal due to what has been happening in the world and due to the redesigned 2022 models coming. Mine has quattro, a 7 spd dct/dsg now, and the sport package, which lowers it 15mm and stiffens the suspension. The handling is incredible (I've owned Civic Si, Mustang GT, Audi A5, Subaru). I prefer manual transmissions, so maybe a Golf R would be better for me, but I prefer sedans to hatches, and in the end there is just something about the way an Audi holds the road. With a tune the A3 should be ridiculously fast for such an innocent looking car, but I will wait until closer to the end of the warranty. Anyway, I know I am 5 years late to this, but your review still helps Audi drivers love their cars! Cheers.

I just got one but the S line Version. I LOVE IT. I upgraded from a 2010 Audi A3 s line. And it was a major upgrade. 💗

Got one in a s line trime same tires. I wouldnt trade it for anyother car. Fun sporty and potent powerplant can beat many cars in the market. Love it

I love my car. Just got it a month ago. BUT the stupid car alarm goes off every 3-5mins! We’ve changed the battery in the remote..etc and checked the door latches. We are getting so annoyed with it. A car alarm shouldn’t be going off this much!!! If you buy it beware of this happening. I wish we would have known about it before buying. 🙃

@2:15 "all the A3s include a proximity sensor, so there's no key up here." um, I'm driving a loaner today, and there is a key, no push button start.

I would definitely get this car if it wasn't so tiny, 175 inches in length is extremely small, if it was just a tiny bit bigger than this would be a no brainer. A Corolla is bigger and has more backseat legroom.

the A3 is a Subcompact Luxury Sedan, the Corolla is a Compact sedan

Would rather buy a fully loaded VW Golf R with the same platform rather than this one. It's just the luxury version of VW. Wise car buyer/lessee would go for the needs first rather than the badge and unessesary luxuries...

I own a VW GLI, and just bought the wife the Q5. There is no comparison between the two. I test drove the s3 & both the Q5 and S3 handle like they are on rails. Audi is a simply awesome driving experience. I still love my VW, but I'll be moving to Audi. However in all fairness I have not test driven the Golf, but Audi just has a tightness I have never experienced with VW, I've owned 4.

AR S yea but when bought slightly used this costs the same as golf in my country since VW’s hold their value so well, while Audi does not.

VW lost me a while ago. I've had two of them . Audi blows them away. I just bought this car. Audi gets it right .
