Are you free to use whatever engine you like? What about removing the radiator or moving it away from the front of the car? It would give you extra bashing room.

I just love 24's solid steel V bumper... yay, derby in cheat mode... 2 years running and never got caught.

Bumpers don't win derbys. Solid bumpers are very common here in va. Even my bumper i run in the 6 cyl class is 4x4 3/8ths" thick sqaure tubing with a 3 inch point. If anything, the heavier the bumper is, the more you're going to destroy frame rails.

The 'pros' disdained to run the Cadillacs until the supply of clamshell wagons dried up. NOW they're learning how to build and run them - though I personally doubt that jack-hammering the trunk out of shape makes a quarter-inch of difference to how well the car takes a hit.

I'll give ya a tip I do derby and I always win! I shouldn't give my best tip away But I am Here it it... Always use the back of your car Try very hard not to use the front! If you keep hitting from front you'll stuff up your engine!

Ugh why do people never learn with the stupid zooming in and out of derbies among many other types of videos, if you are new to this, which i dont think you are pretty sure i think you posted one last year, but if you are pick up on this quickly, you miss so much action doing that, some people have different methods of filming it thats fine , but i dont agree with this method, others can either pan out so u can see most of the track and leave it, or they try and follow a car until he makes a hit, then switch but pulled back enough to be able to see some other stuff.
