I purchased this for my 2014 forester and it fit perfectly. The install for my year forester was the same as this video and I didn’t have to make any extra modifications.

I went with Diode Dyn. for my 2018 XT front fog lights and tail to turn kit for rear lights/LED’s . 👍 good stuff.

...the Forester finally enters the realm of the Bro-doser. it's official, the Forester has arrived. Funny thought, I believe that Forester owners will use their light bar more off-road than said Bro-dosers as Forester owners use their vehicle more off road than said 'doser owners (the ones that like to show off/use their myriad of lights [rock lights too] on the street)

This is surely a great product but I run the Rigid SR Pro 20" because I need top performance as I navigate a very remote commute through 70 miles of Moose country (one way). As my light bar is only 20 inches I was able to install it easily with only taking off the grille. The switch instructions on this video are pretty solid but there is an easier rubber grommet to access on the passenger side of the steering linkage. If you need serious light, fork over the extra for rigid, having the 20 inch is nice as you can still adjust the light after it is installed...

I disagree, this bar out performs rigid. I had the Sr pro before the one in the video and the Sr pro was close but not quite as good

How do you set up the height of it so you don’t blind the drivers driving the opposite way?

For that, you need to make sure you get the driving beam pattern and you can adjust it by lowering the angle.

That is useless as a driving light you don't use amber tinted lens for that, you need 6000 or 6500K clear light.
