Great video👍. I just deleted my muffler and resonators from my 2018 Cadillac Escalade. Man, what a difference. Not only it sounded great but, it has much better acceleration😊.

I plan to do this on my 2019 GMC. Been looking at Magnaflow systems, but after watching this video I'm sold. Did you notice any power or MPG gains? Like everyone else has said LOVE the way this one sounds

Haven't noticed on MPG, does seem to have a little more kick. MPG might suffer, because I like the sound too! Lol

I also did a muffler delete on my 2018 but I left my resonator on and I have the same sound as yours and I enjoy it every time I use my truck but I was seeing this guys video and he was talking bout doing a AFM delete on he’s truck I was wondering if you did yours too or if you have some info that would help.

Stevenlyne so you don’t think it’ll affect the truck I haven’t gotten a check engine light or nothing like that and the truck runs smooth I don’t have a problem when it goes from v4 to v8 I also had taken a 8 hour trip and the gas mileage was the same as before

Why did you go down in diameter? They come stock with a 2.5 or 2.75. Sounds good and video covered all aspects of sound great job.

@@ToothPasteLOLthey make a AFM chip or take it to a tuner. I took mine to a local hot rod shop in Oklahoma and he deleted my AFM paid 400 and he set the rpm’s and all my shift points. The chip is cheaper but I got more bang for my buck going through a professional tuner. I get 17-20 mpg. Way nicer.

When you do a muffler delete you can smash the gas peddle and it will be loud not super loud but loud enough but what makes a muffler delete better then flowmasters or magnaflow is that when you take your foot off the gas it goes ghost completely quiet

What I can remember, I think around 5k. I did trade in the factory rims and tires. Think he aloud $1200. So total would be around 6k plus. Got lift, rims and tires in Tn.

3.5 inch lift level. No trimming, but slight rub at full turn. Wheels(Hostile Alpha) 22x12-44...tires 33x12.5

@@simpleobedienceisbettertha3731 what I can tell, it's not real bad. I've looked at the plastic after it rubbed and it doesn't show much of anything. A person could trim I believe and stop it from rubbing.

Ok. Im trying to avoid all trimming if i can. On yours was it just the plastic black bottom part that it was rubbing or both the metal and plastic? If it's the plastic bottom I can bare trimming that a little for it not to rub. Lol

@@simpleobedienceisbettertha3731 yes, just the plastic. I didn't trim because to me it's not bad. The only time I really notice is in a tight parking lot. But I believe you would be good with a little trim.

Not sure on sound. With the dual I'm sure it will distribute the sound. Have a 3 1/2 inch lift on truck. Hope this helps.

Any chance you could measure the blocks? I'm curious, cause I did a 3 1/2 lift and they used I think 2 and 3/4 or 2 and a half inch blocks in the back cause they said it was nose dive a touch if they used the 3.. Mine is also a 2WD.. So not sure if that makes a difference.

Thank you. I used Bolra tips from Amazon #20248. My muffler guy used 2.25 inch diameter pipe. Left cat closes to engine than cut everything out. Ran new pipe put a y in it with the Bolra tips that have a resonator in tips. In video you can see actual cut in. Hope this helps. Total cost $330.

3.5 inch lift. When lifted, I told the guys to make it level. So I'm not real sure the exact on the back.

I'm not really familiar with the drone you are experiencing. I looked it up and they suggested that if you do have to much drone, might need to put the resonator back on. Hope this helps.

No complaints.... everything is good. I do get slight rub at full turn. I've gotten use to it and hardly notice it anymore. Parking in tight lots is when I notice it the most. Extremely happy with it all.
