this is a quick review over the features and functions in the 2016 Honda CRV EXL. If you are considering purchasing one, or have already purchased one this is a nice refresher over the amenities in the vehicle.

This video was extremely informative & helpful to me. I just purchased a 2016 Honda CR-V Touring model in pristine condition. A definite upgrade from my 2010 Honda Accord LX that I used as a trade in. I was so busy doing the paperwork for the deal that I didn't get the opportunity to spend learning about the features of the vehicle. I am also a person who doesn't enjoy reading instructional handbooks so this video was perfect. It was concise, explained what I couldn't figure out on my own quickly & professionally. Thank you🙂👍

Great quick tutorial Justin. We just bought one used. I thought the driver "funhouse" mirror was a cheap replacement with the distortion until I saw this video and heard your explanation!

just bought a 16 exl. 78000 miles, clean, copper color with black interior. they wanted $16700.00, i said $16000.00, got it for $16300.00. good deal??? vid's are enjoyable.

Just bought this same model/year in coffee metallic in canada. Paid a hefty price due to the crazy shortage. But since it's a Honda not only it retains its value but it's quite reliable too. Thanks so much for a nice quick tour👌😊

We just bought a 2016 Touring, looking in the manual, it does not say how many CD's can be loaded into the player, if it is stacker or not, can you specify this. Also looking at the nav gps system my wife's Accord has a gps disc in the trunk, so what does this CRV have in case a person needs to upgrade the nav system. We have not picked up the CR-V, yet waiting to go to the bank. Thanks.

Very informative. You touched on something that I've been trying to get information on. That is setting up navigation for the touchscreen stereo. How do I do that and where can I purchase that app. And are there other apps from Honda I can purchase for this head unit. I have a 2015 CRV EX. Your help would be much appreciated.

@@ashleyclark1495 I ended up getting an aftermarket head unit. It has wireless Apple and Google CarPlay. I am extremely happy with it.

A dealer advertised this car with breaking assist. After I left with the car and realize it doesn’t have breaking assist. Anything I can do??

In 2016 you could get an EXL with or without navigation . They did start offering a cord you could buy from the dealership and an app you could purchase to allow a EXL without, to have navigation. Not sure if they still offer this. I would call your local store and ask the parts department.

The 2016 do not have Apple Car Play. That started with 2017. It’s only a Bluetooth connect. I bought a 2016 recently.

@@twylaklife So can you connect CarPlay via the USB cable on the 2016 model (with nav) so you can see the apple phone via the front screen? I mean I would assume the only primary reason you would want is to view the navigation map. Otherwise 2016s (EX-L if ordered and touring with a standard nav) already has the nav. It also,comes with Bluetooth to receive calls. I mean I don’t think it’s a big deal. What do you think?

In the 2016 model I believe it was only offered in the Touring.

Thanks that's a detailed tour. I got one CRV 2016 EX L. Can you suggest on how to install Navigation on this model. This vehicle doesn't have Navigation but I see it has GPS chip on it. Does it need a Hardware upgrade or Software Upgrade. Please help.

Just plug your phone into the USB and use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Nothing else is required....

@@JustinFullerReviews I have Android Auto and it doesn't recognize it. My phone is a motog6. I absolutely love my 2016 CRV EXL. Once I am able to figure out how to sync my phone's GPS with my car, I will be completely satisfied with my purchase. Please help!
