After a series of clips of my 2015 / 2016 John Cooper Works (F56) in stock specification I now have the possibility to present to You a first glimpse at at just fitted JCW Pro Exhaust, a manual valve exhaust, which is similar to the one from the Mini Cooper S with Tuning Kit. I was already a big fan of the JCW before, but the emotional factor that this exhaust system adds on top is just unbelievable!!! The loudness, the tone, the pops & crackles....everything is so special and can easily be compared with a Audi RS3 or A45 AMG, easily. So for everybody that is owning a F56 Cooper S or JCW, I can only recommend to go for this option, it unique in the industry for 4-cylinder engines today! +Automann-TV wo bekommt man eigentlich diese Anlage her? Es gibt ja die Aftermarket-JCW-Teile, aber da find ich die Anlage nicht...

Ah ok, vielen Dank! :) Ist das eine komplette Anlage ab Turbo/ab Kat, oder "nur" ein Endschalldämpfer? (Vielleicht weißt du das ja zufällig :D)

Jan-Sören Jansen-Sörensen Moin. Die JCW Pro Exhaust Anlage ist komplett getauscht ab Kat, und es ist ein ziemlicher Aufwand die zu verbauen;) Ab Kat heißt, dass der Mittelschalldämpfer gegenüber dem Series JCW-Auspuff entfällt und der neue Endschalldämper eben über die Klappensteuerung umgangen werden kann. :)

This is so COOL! Does this sound same with a Cooper S tuning kit exhaust? Do you get this from the Mini dealer? Can't find this on the mini site. Geetings from Australia

Sound is very similar to a Cooper S Tuning Kit and you can order this at your Mini dealership through parts. It's not in the configurator, but your dealership should know what to order. Greetings from Germany:)

how many k's had your JCW done before you fitted the PRO exhaust? Did you notice the exhaust getting louder as you drove the car more? The JCW seems very quiet when new compared to a Cooper S.

+Campbell Peart I had around 7.000 km on the clock when I changed the exhaust system. The JCW standard exhaust definitely gets louder over the first few thousand kilometers, but this pro exhaust is a different league, sounds same on JCW and Cooper S.

@automann-TV So I've had my Thunder Grey JCW for about a month now and I'm on the verge of plunging for the pro exhaust, it is a pretty hefty price so I keep second guessing myself. I haven't been able to hear one in real life yet as there aren't too many about but your video gives the best representation that I can find. Would you honestly say that it's worth the money ? Thanks Sam

+sam margolis Honestly, very easy answers: YES!!!! Even after a few month now I still find new tones and crackles when driving it....once its warm it is just superb.

Hi there. Are you planing to review a RS3? And the difference between Normal and Sport are huge! I like those sounds, only haters can say that it sounds like a Tractor Cheers man :)

Well, the sound of old (gasoline) tractors is one of the most thrilling things you can hear...the JCW now sounds like it has a 4 liter machine, and not a bit of stupid. To your question, I am planning to review the RS3 asap, but can't say for sure when that will be.

how much does this system cost plus installation ? There is no added power from it, just the sound really correct.

+Robbie About 2k EUR incl. installation I think, maybe a bit less. There also is a power increase noticeable after I had it installed.

Hi automann tv! I have the most important question for you: Is the JCW Pro exhaust comfortable with the valve closed? I don’t want it to be loud all the time. Sometimes I prefer a quiet drive. Is that still possible with this exhaust?

spitzen Bericht wirklich Klasse. könntest du mir noch bitte beantworten ob er im Innenraum auch geil untertouring brummt bei niedrigen Drehzahlen z.b im Green Mode und Last :) bin immer wieder am überlegen ob sich das Geld lohnt, ein anderer Auspuff würde für mich nicht in Frage kommen, ist zwar günstiger aber die Garantie ist futsch. LG Phil

Wenn die Klappe offen ist (Track Mode) brummt der auch innen richtig bassig und tief....eigentlich egal in welcher Drehzahl;)

I had to wait for it for a long time, as it is not identical to the Cooper S Tuning Kit. But it's almost the same I guess.

+Automann-TV it is exactly the same, Mini changed the part number and packaged it without the tuning kit and charged an extra £800. I know a few people that have the cooper s tuning kit exhaust on the JCW. EXACTLY THE SAME I.E NO DIFFERENCE

Sport Mode is what you select in the Mini Drive Modes. Track mode is what you enable with the exhaust remote.

Nur kurzzeitig. Das meiste ist bis maximal 2.500 Touren....da schauen selbst die V8-Fahrer blöd....also soviel zum Thema Turbo und 4-Zylinder und Kein Sound😉

Absolut...wie ein Scania V8 am Berg. Der Bass den das Fahrzeug hat kommt im Video nicht ansatzweise rüber...wirklich beeindruckend. Und das alles bei Drehzahlen von unter 2.500 Touren💪

Bruno B. haha....auf jeden Fall, aber mit nem Set Kopfhörer taucht man doch schon ganz gut ein in das Erlebnis:)
