This is usefull for circuit. Newer after 2015 / R1 and R1M are software limited to 300 km/h/189 mph. Their ecu must be reflashed in order to remove that top speed limiter. Although the speedo will not show always more than 299/189, revs will pass 13krpm in 6th gear, after reflashing. R1 and R1M are very fast

To me, on my R1 2017, the level 1 is the most intruisive mode. For the TCS for exemple, it will activate instantly whereas the 9th level let the rear wheel make at leat a complete turn.

Hey man saw your video and I've been considering getting a 2016 r1s due to a great deal on a used one with 500 miles on it. I currently have a Ninja 650 I ride daily. When I mention it to my friends who have liter bikes they all pretty much say it's to much of a bike. I do a fair bit of city riding going to work and like to get out for a couple hours on the weekend in the mountain twisties. Would you think the power modes would help me ease into the bike? My main concern is it's too big of a jump only have ridden my buddies bikes 1000cc bikes for maybe thirty minutes max at a time.

Worst electronics explain / review. Grey is factory preset values. If anything 'A' Mode should be set to all "1"s (more or less). .
