Wonderful looking truck. I just picked up a '16 Laramie Long Cummins Mega. If I ever decided to upgrade her, I'd do a package just like this. These trucks are easily the best in their segment.

If you want this truck with a Cummins then order it with a Cummins. This is a gorgeous truck...Sherry did a great job with it. I own a 2015 RAM 2500 Laramie Mega Cab but without the "Black Appearance Package" and without the Cummins because I don't tow anything. I have the 6.4 HEMI with the 4.10 rear axle ratio and it's rated to tow 15,800 pound. But like I said, I don't tow so why would I get a diesel engine? Resale value? I plan to drive my truck for 10-12 years or more if I can so it's not going to be worth much at the end either way. Besides, anyone who "needs" the Cummins knows it and would never consider any gas engine...period. Those who don't "need" the Cummins but "want" it for whatever reason will spend their hard earned money on a great diesel engine and will not regret their choice...probably. As for me, I am not willing to spend on an expensive engine package that I have no need for. I am also not willing to deal with what I consider to be inconveniences that come with any diesel engine. That said, anyone on this board who's in the market for this truck with a diesel....order it with one.

METALITHrevetments Exactly, the majority of the people going on about a Cummins engine will never need it. It's like those super tricked out Jeeps you see that never have a scratch on them from actual use. It's for show and people bragging to their friends who don't care that they wasted their money lol.

Best looking truck I have ever seen, I would throw a canopy on there for my shepherds. I prefer driving a gas with a awesome Hemi but considering mileage longevity I would take a diesel probably.

How about 400 horsepower, and 800 foot pounds of torque? Basically the stock power level of the truck as a diesel. If there were some basic add ons, it would be 600 horsepower, and 1100 foot pounds of torque. Can you do that with a gasser? No. Beautiful truck though.

I have the 6.4L HEMI and love it. Driven the Cummins and have lots of friends with them. There isn't anything they can do with their truck that I can't do just as good. When it comes to replacing engine parts, the Cummins parts are twice as much.

wth you got against a cummins, that truck needs to be a cummins not no v8 hemi. what can that do other then nothing. it can barely handle its own weight. now that beast body plus a cummins is the right build. thats all bark no bite with that hemi. lol, you'll wish you had that turbo diesel when all the real trucks bash on you cuz your running unleaded reg lmao in a 2500

so.. what exactly is this "package"? all I heard that was special was a lift, the headlights from the blacktop package, and you took the glitter out of the paint. oh and the amp steps (those are cool). sounds to me like I could have all that done aftermarket (probably for less $). none of it voids warranty. not trying to be a jerk, I'm just a little confused. are you just charging people for the convenience of not having to source the parts/labor themselves? to me that 25% of the fun, ya'know... "the build"

You can find all of the details of this package on our website. www.sherry4x4.com This truck still wears it's original Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat paint with the metallic (see pictures on our website). Not everyone wants to (or has the ability to) build their own truck or Jeep and having the option to finance and warranty an entire package is really appealing to a lot of people. I hope this answered your questions.
