It may not be fast, but when I was driving it, it was fun and it felt much quicker then it actually was

i test drove the basic basic no frills 2013 smart it was white I liked it only drove around at 10- 50mph

@@mikesuzio2566 I know your comment is old but you test-drove the older one. I guess you must have test-driven the 61 horse power one if it was that slow. The normal ones are quite quick.

@@Jano1998 I have the 2017 Electric Drive, I can smoke most gas cars 0-35 mph at a red light.

Love this car, and since I live in San Francisco it would really help with finding parking. There is one big flaw that I don't know if it can be fixed (or redesigned) in that there is no trunk. Hatchbacks used to be okay, but car break ins happen daily by the hundreds in most cities. And you can't always carry everything each time you get in and out of the car, especially when shopping, errands, or a weekend trip.

I have a 2008 smart passion Orange with orange interior I changed the tires out from 175 rear and. 155 in front to. 185 on all 4

+Everyday Reviews I have the 2013 Smart Fortwo Electric Drive and it is a funky and quick little commuter! My wife drives our Tesla, and I've only taken it to work once, and far prefer the Smart on the narrow city streets I take on my commute. Looking forward to the electric drive version of this new Smart car.

courtney Vegan I don't think it does have a blind spot monitor. it has lane keep assist as an option and forward collision prevention assist as an option

Seriously, take it for a drive and check it out. Maybe after a while you'd get used to it but after a couple of days, I still wished I had one.

I own a smart car and it does not throw you around like that, why do these people always exaggerate, it is the most comfortable ride on the inside and the second you get out of it it shocks you that it is so small

This might be smart for a parking lot. But to me it is a lot more smarter to get a Honda hybrid accord touring, for 35000$ and get 50mpg city driving, actually I have been getting easily up to 70 mpg without any effort. Horse power 196 torque 226. 0-60 in 7.1 seconds, back up camera, navigation, blue tooth, cruise control with ACC, lane watch, 5 star crash testing, room for 5,very roomy front and more in the back. Only car on the road with no transmission. This sound like smart. Watch my videos at Honda hybrid accord physics. Can you do a professional video on Honda hybrid accord.

+physics Ok, I'll play this game. Honda at $35K is almost 100% more expensive than the Smart Electric Drive I bought two years ago for $19K. Our Tesla Model S is far superior to the Honda and is only 100% more expensive. See how it's interesting to compare cars that are in completely different in cost? Oh, and we use ZERO gas, much better than a hybrid, both our EV's are quick and fun to drive, can't say that for the Honda...
