Great video. I'm dealing with the same exact issue, except I think the flapper and motor is good for the most part. I stretched the wire while replacing something else and now I have the same code in it a Kia Sorento 2016. I clear the code. Look at the data taking on a test drive. The engine light stays off but then when I come back from the test drive, shut the car off and start it back up. The MIL is on again with the same p200 intake runner performance code. Could it be that I didn't do long enough test drive before the OBD monitors to complete their readiness cycles and what not?

I would say it’s probably bad if it keeps coming back with a code!

I have replaced this part and the arm link kit. This has been about four times and every time I install a new arm link ,3 to 4 days after it snaps broken. Is there something that I have to do after do I have to relearn the car?

Usually no, just make sure nothing is seized up!

@@visualfan651 no problem! And yeah the manifold flap inside is probably seizing up somewhere, sorry to hear that!

how are you Nate, i changed this part twice on my 2016 sonata and the same code with the same problem keep coming. Can you please assist. I got the part from autozone by the way. please reply buddy. Thanks

It could be the part inside of the intake that went bad. Without being there I’m really not sure though, I’m sorry! I’ve only worked on this code once and this was the fix.

Is there a bolt holding the intake under the car ?

All bolts are under the hood, the car shouldn’t have to go up

The squeaking noise! Plus I believe it wasn’t fully actuating, hard to remember now, maybe a fault code
