The wrx fa20 is turbocharged....

Wife has one, every now and then she let's me drive it. Absolutely a fantastic car. Every second you sit in it you have a smile on your face. Whether it's down to the corner market or going across the state.

It's a boxer engine, not a Boxster engine.

Looks ace in red. Rare colour in the UK, although I saw one pass me on the M40 the other week. As for saying the Golf R is better with DSG, from many reviews ive seen, customers prefer the manual. Shame that VW have dropped the manual in the latest version. Give us the choice ! Im sick of car makers dictating to us, telling us what they think we want. Im hoping to get an AWD car in the next couple of years, and the Golf R was on my list but not anymore. Plenty low mileage MT versions for sale on Auto Trader, and still quite a few low mileage WRX STIs for sale as well from Subaru dealers. Ford ? No thanks.

Hey Mr. Jeff! The 2 liter wrx IS turbo charged as well. What you meant was probably if they can make one that's 2.5 for the STI

We have a slightly different market in the UK, and sadly we are getting no more WRX STis in this country for some reason. Not sure why, but there are plenty of very low mileage examples of this car at dealers, all at great prices so when I have more cash at least I should be able to find one :)

The one to buy is the one that makes you smile, not necessarely the fastest. DSG is sure quick but autos are dull as hell. I own an S3, and shopping to go back to subaru

Jeff, very knowledgeable and good review. Normal WRX or Levorg with the 2.0ltre 197kw motor would be better for the average person driving every day for commute or whatever, STI is the perfect weekend car. Greetings from Australia
