Top review Shimmy, To get rid of the reflectors on the forks, you can use dental floss, get it in behind the plastic and the fork and it doesn't damage the fork, then use WD40 or sticky stuff remover to get rid of the stuff that is left.

Thanks shimmy a great review and you certainly put a lot of effort into making it . Got the same Model speed this year and everything you say is spot-on 👍 I still can’t decide between the rider modes but I’ll keep persevering , yep reflectors will defo be coming off does anyone know how to do it without marking the beautiful ohlins ? Kept up the great work m8 I’m a fan 🤙

The reflectors are compulsory to meet Euro regs.

Great review. Bought this bike last week, still waiting for its arrival at the Triumph dealer. I absolutely agree about the ugly reflectors on the fork. They are part of the Euro 4 norm. Not Triumph's fault.

Nice one bud. I'm going to get one when I'm back from the middle east. Is there much wind buffeting? I had two of the old triples..a T595 and then the first of the 955i.

i'm not too keen on the reflectors, oversized number plates and rear fender but i understand it is an MOT requirement.

great review--really informative....have you ridden the S model? I plan to have one to go every day to work and the occasional weekend ride. Which model do you think suites best? No track use predicted. tnks

Glad you like the review! The S may be a better bike for what you have planned although we haven't tested the S, but the R is a brilliant bike and not a ridiculous amount more than the S! I'd test ride both first buddy to make sure you choose the right one :) happy riding!

The speed you've tested here is a lot lower to the ground than my 11 plate speed and does feel lighter ,, and I'd believe the bhp claims when I see it on a dyno,, don't believe it's much more than the model it replaces ,,, but horses for courses I guess cheers Shane

Jimmy it was about £270. Don't think it does to be honest but I've not tried.
