2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Review - Inside Lane

Күн бұрынThis is the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and it aims to take on the likes of the BMW M3, Audi RS4, and Mercedes-AMG C63. Powered by a 2.9 litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine, the QV produces 503bhp and 443lb ft of torque. That is enough for a 0-62 MPH time of just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 190 MPH. Alfa Romeo claim 33 MPG.
The interior of the Alfa Romeo Giulia is a beautiful as its exterior. Lashings of carbon fibre and high quality leather trims the cabin. Our test car feature a set of carbon fibre sports seats. A 480 litre boot is competitive with rivals.
Listen to that glorious V6 engine noise as the 8 speed automatic transmission fires through its ratios. Active aerodynamics, carbon brakes, and adjustable dampers all feature. This car lapped the Nurburgring in 7 minutes and 39 seconds making it 13 seconds faster than a BMW M4.

It lapped the Ring in 7.32. The time, 7.39, being mentioned, was the 6 speed manual version.

Great review! :) I think you can set a car to dynamic mode and then set the dampers separetly to soft mode, so you can drive around with that great exhaust note but enjoy softer ride.

+Viilutaja Yes you can. Firm dampers come on by default in dynamic, but as you said, they Car be turned off.

It's actually 7:32, not 7:39. Very nice review, and congratulation for being the first I've seen who doesn't use 'Ferrari' improperly. There's nothing Ferrari in this car.

TheMule71 Glad you liked it. Alfa officially quote the time as 7 minutes and 39 seconds. All journalists had a briefing before being given the car.
